What were you up to this time of year then? we were still going out a lot, spending time with friends, traveling, hanging out in the city every weekend and being carefree.
Were kids even on your radar at the time? kind of we were at the point of considering TTC and weren't being overly careful at the time and just waiting to see what would happen

What were you up to this time of year then? We had just moved into our house, but our kitchen was still under construction. We were both working and hanging out with friends on the weekend. Lots of drinking and staying up late
Were kids even on your radar at the time? Not even close! My sister and SIL were pregnant at the time but I had no interest in getting pregnant any time soon

It was around this time that I was having an endo biopsy done and gearing up for a December frozen embryo transfer which unfortunately resulted in a Christmas time miscarriage. So obviously yes, kids were on the radar.
5 years ago We were getting ready for our last big Thanksgiving dinner at our apartment in MI. We were packing and everything. It was a mess! Kids were on the radar but we were waiting until things were "perfect" (i.e. DH had a real job).

What were you up to this time of year then?
I was doing freelance working part time for my (now) employer and part time at my old work where I was bored. We were planning our anniversary trip to fly up to see an Eagles game for our anniversary which was our second visit to this area in the same year. DH and I met my now bosses for the first time as well, they took us out to lunch. It was after this visit I became intent on moving up north.
Were kids even on your radar at the time?
Yes and No. We knew we wanted a family after I had been having big scares from rupturing cysts the past summer. The OB told me I would likely never get pregnant without medical help to control my cysts and that I should go back on Birth Control if I wanted to to stop the pain every month. We decided to throw caution to the wind and were sexually peaking as a couple this year in our marriage.
My search won't go back past 2010 I'm pretty sure it had to do with the choice in moving her to in-home daycare from the daycare center since this month is our 3 year anniversary of coming to Kim's.
Cyndee... that happened with me the first time I searched. Try changing the parameters to give you posts in ascending instead of descending order. When I did that, it took me all the way back to my first posts in 2006.
5 years ago What were you up to this time of year then? DH (D BF back then) and I were house hunting. We had this wild idea that we were going to find a house for cheap, flip it, then make some money. Were kids even on your radar at the time? Heck no. I wanted them.. yes. But we were having fun.

So I cheated... and I couldn't resist but post one from Dec 08: its from the secrets but it was when I found out Aiden will be a big brother.

OMG that makes me cry. I originally guessed my due date 2 days off in July 2007. Woah...
I still break the 500 thread barrier going that way as well, I can't get further past June 2008.

What were you up to this time of year then? I was still in college, living with my roommates in an off campus apartment. DH (boyfriend) at the time was living across the country in Florida going through flight school. I was a legal assistant at a pro bono law firm and I modeled part time. I was in the process of deciding if, after graduation, I should go to law school, join the peace corps, teach English in France, or move in with my boyfriend right away since we were starting to seriously talk about marriage.
Were kids even on your radar at the time? Not even remotely. I was so completely unprepared. I knew I wanted kids someday but pictured it in my late 20's after I was married, had a steady and awesome career, and a house.
I feel like I have grown by leaps in bound in the last 5 years!
I'll have to come back to the second half of this when I have more time to search.
