What Vitamins/Supplements do you take?
What, how often, and why?

I have to take calcium along with vitamin D since losing my thyroid, I may have to for life, they'll test for it in a few months to see if the parathyroid glands were damaged. I take oscal 1-2xs a day. I was already taking vit D 2-3 times a week anyway.

I also take Biotin daily to try to help my hair and nails. It hasn't helped at all but I keep trying.

I'm considering an omega 3 supplement 2-4 times a week. Not sure which one. If I can find a gummie multivitamin with Iron I'd take it everyday but I don't think they exist. I can't swallow big pills.

I take a prenatal vitamin/multi (I never stopped taking a prenatal after Meg.. because I loved with it did for my hair and nails), low dose aspirin (for APS) and omega-3 because it makes me feel good. I'm pretty religious about it.

Iron. I am chronically anemic (thanks to endo) and if I don't take iron my levels aren't normal.

I do D when I remember. I don't really need a multi... all my levels were fine at my last physical.

I try to remember to take a multi vitamin or vitamin D. I've found it makes a big difference in how often I get sick.

I take a liquid multivitamin in the morning. It definitely gives me more energy and I don't need coffee.
