Who has used them? Did you like like them? Are they harder than pockets?

I loved them! I usually used them around home when I could let Kenz go coverless or wear fleece pants overtop. My faves were PiddlePoddles and Goodmamas. I also had some organice bamboo ones (can't remember name) that were soooo soft on her bum.

No harder for washing at all. They're a bit bulkier, but really absorbent. I know a lot of people like them for overnight.

I use them and really like them. I use them mostly at night because they are a lot more absorbent. They are slightly less convenient than pockets because you do need a cover with them, but they aren't hard at all. My favorite brand is BuBuBeBe.

I'm thinking of getting some for our next baby. I liked using prefolds but DH never bothered with them. I only just got him to use our pockets and I still have to stuff them for him!
