If you recall, my DH has made it clear that he's quite done having kids and doesn't want any more. I want another baby; as weird as this sounds, I can't imagine not being pregnant again.

Tonight as we were boxing up the last of the party decorations, DH commented that he was a little sad that Emerson's party was over. I agreed and asked what about it made him sad. He said that the last year has gone so quickly and he's not really a "baby" anymore. When I told him that I was really sad to know we'd probably never throw another doljanchi, he said, "wow, you really want another baby don't you?" Uh, duh!

We've talked about it before, but this was the first time he's opened his mind to the possibility. I wouldn't say he's changed his mind, but it sounds like the door has opened enough that we can have some real conversations.

Good luck! DH and I weren't in agreement for a long time, so, I know exactly where you are. Hopefully he will decide 3 is the perfect number.

The more I say things about having another the more it sounds like DH really doesn't want another baby. I know he'll go with it because he's said he will. But when he talks about the future he is only talking about 4 of us, not 5. It's been frustrating for me to say the least. I know we need to wait and we need a bigger car, but he doesn't sound like he ever wants to get there.

We still have some financial hurdles to deal with before we can even really think about it, but just hearing that he's not dead set against it feels good.

Right now, we're only using condoms for BC. I was always stressing that if there was an oops, he'd be upset about it (even though I wouldn't!). This kind of brings that stress down a little.
