I was wondering if any of you had heard of Ramzi's method.

For those of you who had ultrasounds at around 6 weeks, do you still have them? The theory is that in a transvaginal ultrasound at around 6-8 weeks, if the baby has implanted on the left of the uterus that you are looking at, the sex is girl, and if the baby is implanted on the right of the uterus that you are looking at, the sex is male. If the ultrasound is abdominal, you reverse what you are looking at.

Here is the article that explains it in depth. Supposedly, it has an over 97% accuracy. I looked at my 6 weeks ultrasound with this baby and the baby is all the way on the upper left corner of my uterus. I went and looked up Sam's 6 week ultrasound photo and he is completely on the upper right corner of my uterus, which is correct with this method. I couldn't find a 6 week ultrasound photo of Walter but I did find an 11 week one where you can clearly see the umbilical cord attached to the placenta on the upper right corner of my uterus, so it appears to be correct with him too.

I am very curious if this will mean girl this time. So I have to ask, if any of you have any early ultrasound photos of your '08 kiddos, does this theory hold true with the sex of your child?

That article sounds too accurate to be true. I googled and a bunch of DDCs came up where it seems to have been highly accurate with them too, but it's all very weird because I hadn't heard of it before.

I guess time will tell but if this is a girl then I'm convinced.

I'll have to double check when I get home but I think the one I have of Kaija she's in the upper right... I don't have a pic of Kolbie's.

I've never had a transvaginal ultrasound but at my 8 week ultrasound with Isaac it is bottom right and with Eva (I think it was around 8 weeks also), was bottom right also.

We don't get u/s that early with my ob. They do a quick check with a crappy machine to make sure heart is beating at first appointment but no pics and you can't see anything more than a flutter. I only got pics at 20 wks.

That would be really neat if that theory checks out true though. :-)

My ob doesn't do u/s that early either. Only 20 weeks unless an issue.

This wasn't with a real high quality machine, but it was transvaginal I do know that... Looks like he is implanted to the left?

Interesting theory though, I have never hear of it!!
