Whine: I had my 4th (YES 4th) interview with the other firm a week and a half ago. As I was leaving, they said.. "We will get back with you ASAP with the offer letter". Still no letter. Very annoyed. I know we are all busy, but come on.
Woohoo: All girls camping and heavy wine drinking weekend ahead. I have very few friends.. but some girls that still keep in touch from high school are all getting together and going camping. Fun fun.. i hope.
Whine: DH thought he could go ahead and invest money for Sam's future without consulting me on what he chose. Not cool. Needless to say he called the bank to cancel and we will be meeting the financial advisor together on Friday.
Woohoo - I met my new GP today and I have a good feeling about him! I had an appointment this AM and tonight I am headed back to see a specialist (fast!!) and he's referring me to a new gyne too. I also liked that he was on board with being very careful about the meds I take from here on. He said it looks as though the only classes of antibiotics I can take now are sulfas (maybe) and tetracyclines... so we need to use them sparingly. Amen! Ironically, he's known my sister (and mutual friends of ours) for years.
Whine: 10 hour workdays are over rated. I am burnt out and still have 5 days left of tax season.
Woohoo: one of the jobs I interviewed for months ago still wants me. The hours would allow me to put the girls back in preschool and work part time year round. Doubt I'd take the job but it's nice to feel wanted
Whine: found out yesterday Preston doctor is no longer seeing patients and the closest we will have to go is 2 hours to Austin...
Woohoo: My job is easy, I"m liking it so far and my supervisor told me I was like a little kid when I was told I could remote into someone computer to help fix their issue. I got all excited. It was my first time since training...
Whine: Today is dragging. I'm ready to go. I'm also very worried about Kimmiejo and hope her and her mom are ok.
Woohoo: play outside, steak dinner, make cookies, survivor, good night planned!
thanks for thinking of us Cyndee .....my cystoscopy was moved to today, so that is over with, it looked completely normal to the urologist, said he didn't see anything at all. They are sending my pee to have cytology testing, to check for any abnormal pee cells (who knew pee cells could be abnormal? I know more about pee than I want to ) if that comes back with anything I will need another cystoscopy under anesthesia so they can do biopsies. ugh. and I def have diabetes, I started meds on Tuesday so I am dealing with trying to keep my levels in check. In good news my mom is feeling much better, she is still in the hospital but doing a lot better, her electrolytes were all off from the chemo, now that they have that fixed she is doing so much better.....been a long week and it's not even Thursday yet *sigh*
in woohoos....Sydney went to bed tonight all by herself, she has never done that before I usually have to lay down with her. May be a one time thing or maybe she turned a corner, who knows but bedtime was great tonight. Maybe she could sense I needed a break, even just a small one.
