I have been slammed at work, tons of end of the month reports to do and tri weekly accounting reports, I also have put the finishing touches on 8 new sites I've built in the past 2 weeks and am only waiting on one more person to finalize the last 3 so I can send them all off - really detailed stuff. I've been moody and in a minor funk but trying to be really careful not to take it out on loved ones and control my tone and vibe.
This weekend nothing is planned really. I have some minor errands - library, shopping for a gift, a Birthday party to take Maddie to tomorrow. We are going to make some Fajitas for Cinco De Mayo I have to prep a marinade tonight. My gym membership ends on the 10th so I may try to get in one last session of spin if I feel up to it. Other than the usual chores not much is going on otherwise. I could really use a girls night out but I don't have any friends! LOL
my week was ok....busy and I am still not feeling myself, in a funk, anxious, blah but hopefully I am on the road to feeling better, fingers crossed!
this weekend....there is a carnival near us going on so we will likely go there tomorrow afternoon after Sam takes a nap. other than that not much on the schedule....Cyndee if you guys want to meet up this weekend let me know, maybe we can plan something on Sunday, a park play date or something, I think the weather is supposed to be decent on Sunday but who really knows lol send me a PM or text me if interested.
Today I have an appointment at noon with Sam's ped about the anxiety stuff. Tonight will be family movie night.
This weekend we don't have much on the agenda, which I am happy about! I plan to purge a bunch of stuff before the basement is ready so I can finally organize my house properly. My sister plans to take Sam on Sunday so, she will spend the day with her and my nieces. I'll probably convince Matt to take me out for a quiet, grown-up dinner.
We have a furlough day today. Hence sitting on the couch drinking coffee on my iPad. Pretty awesome. I'll probably take the kids to the park later and I promised Lilly we can make cupcakes
Tomorrow we are going to Lego land. Teachers get in free this weekend so my mom and I are taking up the offer. We are also visiting my brother. Should be pretty fun.
Busy week both at work and home. Today is calmer and being capped by a visit to an accountant to go over DH's business taxes. They were due on Monday, but I was feeling a bit in over my head, so we decided to take the penalty and get it done right. I'm happy to be able to transfer that stress off my shoulders.
No solid plans yet for this weekend. Aidan starts lacrosse on Monday and said he wants to watch a lacrosse game. The Toronto NLL team are in the playoffs and their game is on Saturday night. We're going to forego seeing it in person and instead have planned a lacrosse night at home to watch it on TV, have snacks, etc... I'm hoping it'll be a bit easier to talk to him and explain the game without the craziness/loudness of the arena.
The only other possbility for this weekend is a trip to a museum. Two weeks in a row now, Aidan has asked to go back to the museum with the dinosaur bones. We went last Spring and he still remembers it and talks about it quite a bit. That will likely end up being a full day thing when I factor in the drive, meals, etc...
We're expecting sunny and warm this weekend, so he'll probably want to get some more lacrosse practice in before he officially starts next week. He's taken a really keen interest in it, but it's early days yet. Let's see how long it lasts!
This week has been ok. Normal home and school stuff.
This weekend is the Dad's campout at Jacob's school so DH will be taking Jacob to that Saturday night. Paige and I will hang out and I hope to get some sewing done.
My week was okay. Slowly starting to feel less nauseous. Thank God.
This weekend we have the home inspection on Sunday. I am nervous. Also exhausted to be traveling to MA again for weekend #3 in a row. My brother (who lives with my parents where we stay) is a nursing student and works the night shift every other weekend so when he does and we are there he gets really moody about us not making any noise so he can get his beauty rest. This weekend is no exception, he always makes a stink about it. You'd think after inconveniencing my parents for 2 years by living with them with his wife and 2 Huskies he would be gracious enough to let us stay at their house for our home inspection (big deal for us!) without bringing the issue up. Okay, end of rant.

This week was meh... I was supposed to be home for bedtime every night this week and it's ended up only happening once. Last night I got hit with the "The girls were disappointed you weren't home tonight" line... After this week my schedule changes so I KNOW I'm going to be there late rather than just staying late to finish my stuff. Kolbie is ridiculously 2 and it's making me nuts. I also may have strep throat...so I feel like crap.
We had talked about doing a few different things this weekend then suddenly the other day DH said he doesn't want to spend any money so we aren't going to do anything. I HATE sitting around all weekend when we both have the time off to do family things and the weather is nice. Nothing ticks me off more. I'm sure we'll find something to do but I'm setting myself up for disappointment.
Tomorrow we are going to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure.
Sunday I need to go food shopping. I need to put Zane on a special diet and I am a little overwhelmed about it. I know once I get started I will get used to it and it will help him in the long run.
This week was fairly uneventful. I'm pretty overwhelmed in my contact manager at work and getting a little bit behind so that has been stressful. I am excited about a couple proposals I am writing to improve our processes though. I am hoping to make it presentable enough that I can run it by the vice president and get him on board.
As for home, London got to go to a baseball game with friends on Wednesday. DH is still in London and I'm jealous. lol
This weekend, I really just have plans to clean and take some donations to Goodwill. I haven't decide what fun thing we'll do. Maybe take London out to tea or to the park. We'll think of something.
this week was busy for us, lots of play dates and stuff.
if the weather cooperates we will F I N A L L L Y put the chicken coop together....i need the chickens out of the laundry room....they really only sleep in there, but they are so stinky.
not sure what else we'll do...maybe go out for a margarita with my FIL tomorrow since he's obsessed with them lately.

My week was great. My job is easy and I'm still always learning. The people I work with are great. My supervisor and myself get along great. I need to pass this security + test so i can keep my job.
