His biopsies came back inconclusive, but the bloodwork confirmed he has it. I am not sure if he will be having more biopsies or if they will be working off the diagnosis from the bloodwork yet.
Oh I don't know that I'd go off blood work. It is not diagnosable via blood work although there are markers for it, I would want to be very sure. I assume he has been seeing a gastroenterologist?
What is their next plan? Did they find any ulcers or fistulas or internal bleeding?
If the biopsies were inconclusive then I would feel good that if they are so confident he has it mild enough that he's not showing any evidence internally. That's great news. If he does have it, he caught it early and with just dietary changes may be able to control it.

He had spots on his esophogus and his small intestines was still inflamed and infected when they did the scope. They have him on a couple heavy duty antibiotics and an acid reflux med.
He will find out more on the game plan when he actually sees the gastroenterologist again. These were just the results they gave him over the phone.
I talked to my husband and he said, "it must not be too bad if it was inconclusive" so really I think this is great, although I know overall not what he wanted to hear. He can shoot my hubby an email if he ever wants to. I know guys are weird about that though...

My brother is a country hick with no idea how to even turn a computer on, but thanks Kristen.
I got to talk with my mom more last night. He is on his meds for a month and then they will decide what to do after they see what improvements been made.
