How are you celebrating Father's Day?

I mowed the lawn yesterday for him while he was out, I got him a Bocce Ball set, letting him sleep in today, and helped Maddie make him a card to give him today as well as an art piece she made in school (No way am I paying $5 for a card!) We also had his favorite Lobster grilled the past 2 nights. Since today/tonight I'm having my family come visit (aunt, cousin, her son) next weekend are are going on a one night beach getaway to seal the celebration.

We started the day with Aidan jumping on our bed singing No More Monkeys. I got up and made a big breakfast and Aidan gave him his card and a craft he made at school. Now we're just hanging out. We were going to go to the boat, but it's raining, so home it is. We'll probably go see Madagascar 3 this afternoon. Yesterday we spent the day at an Air Show, which was our main Father's Day thing. Later, I'll be calling my Dad.

Kind of a lazy day around here. I attempted to let DH sleep in, but he ended up getting up right after us anyway. First thing this morning, Liam starts telling DH we bought him a present, so I went ahead and gave it to him. Right now, there's blueberry muffin bread in the oven for breakfast with maybe some eggs or something. It's supposed to be rainy and ugly all day here, so we won't be doing anything outside.

DH slept until 4 yesterday (home at 7 ) and got up and watched baseball. He requested a turkey dinner today so that will be going in the oven soon. Right now I'm baking him a baseball cake for dessert. I'll have the girls make him some cards this afternoon, too. And we've got to call my dad, too.

we were at my parents for the weekend, the kids made him cards, I got him new sneakers (because he wanted a new pair) and after we made it back home from my parents we just hung around outside, nothing spectacular but it was a good day.

I let DH sleep in, made chocolate chip pancakes with the girls and fed them. We eventually woke him up for presents. The girls made cards at daycare and picked out cards at the store. I got him a pair of shorts and made him a hand painted wooden sign with a sweet quote and the girls' handprints. We were lazy the rest of the morning. DH did yard work (he volunteered), we did family grocery trip, and then I made dinner. He requested a special dessert so I made that too. Pre-made cookie dough in the bottom of a muffin cup, Reece's peanut butter cup inside, and then pour brownie batter on top. Like little peanut butter molten lava cakes!
