1. My AC miraculously started working yesterday so the fix it needs is no longer an 'emergency' (I think the blower motor needs to be replaced.

2. Maddie, while skittish, didn't cry at drop off this morning.

The boys and I leave Thursday evening to go camping with my family. I wish DH could come, but he has to work. I'm so looking forward to some fun, sun and relaxing!

Summer vacation with my kids. It's great to get extra stuff some around the house too that never gets done during the year.

short week with having Wed off....we are in the process of finally redoing our basement after last years flood....I organized the playroom yesterday with Sydney and it looks so much better.

It's a tiny bit cooler today- upper 90s instead of 105.

DH came back from his guy's weekend last night. It's nice to have his help in the mornings with the girls.

Nothing to do, only 8 days till we go to Isreal and I'm feeling pretty much just hormoic with everything right now, seeing how school is finished, got work set, tanja is fantastic, daycare stuff is good and I've discovered that the roller derby team here in town is finally up and running so I plan to join when I come back from Isreal. Seriously, everything feels good right now lol

Monday is gone, but we had a really great day. We were off (stat holiday for the Canada Day which fell on Sunday). Aidan slept until 10:45 since he didn't go to bed until almost 11:00pm after fireworks on Sunday night and once he got the rest of us up, we just lounged around the rest of the day. The weather was gorgeous right through the long weekend and Aidan got to spend some really great quality time with is Granddad. I only work 2 days this week because I'm off Thursday for Aidan's school trip to the zoo and off again on Friday to take Aidan into Toronto for the practice/qualifying day of the Toronto Indy.
