In a way. I do believe that the way we currently live has contributed to the accelerated change in weather. However I also believe that there is a cycle of weather that the atmosphere undergoes. We've just sped it up.

Sure...I have little opinion on it I guess.

Yes.

3. Is ObamaCare a good idea?...I think something needs to be done, is this the right thing exactly? not sure yet but changes need to made in the American healthcare system on several fronts so I guess I will go with a cautious, yes

5. Rate this year so far on a scale of 1 to 10.....so far 2012 has not been a good one for me and my family, a lot of not so great stuff but we are all here and everyday is a gift so I guess I will go with 8, it could always be worse, gotta make the best of everyday.

1. Do you believe in "Global Warming"? Sort of yes, but not specific to the media definition of it (i.e. we're killing the planet). Global warming would be something that would've started the day the planet was formed and will continue until the planet no longer exists.

2. Should MariJane be Legal and Taxed like Alcohol and Cigarettes? No strong opinion one way or the other on this one. I'd be fine with it and would be even better with it if it would mean lowering the taxes elsewhere on something I actually use.

3. Is ObamaCare a good idea? I don't know all the specifics on the program, just the highlights, so not entirely sure how it works. In theory, I do think it's a good idea.

4. Will Mitt Romney pick a male or female VP? Doesn't really have an impact on me - I would hope he would just pick the most competent person though, male, female, purple, orange, who cares.

5. Rate this year so far on a scale of 1 to 10. I'll go 9, things have been pretty good this year, no major complaints!

I used to but now I just think the earth, like the sun, go through cycles. We do need to be more responsible about human impact on the earth and the species we share it with, both plant and animal.

Yep, and all pot offenders in jail should be released. Between the two our broke *** government and states can safe and earn a lot of money. Put it into education.

3. Is ObamaCare a good idea?
Good premise, poor execution. It doesn't actually make health care premiums cheaper for anyone and taxes those who can't afford it but don't qualify for medicaid programs (borderline earners). I think Dr's and hospital prices should be disclosed prior to services and regulated and they should be fined every time they overcharge. I should never have been billed $18,000 for a vaginal birth or $34,000 for a simple surgery. That's where the real problems lie. Drug companies also need better regulation.

4. Will Mitt Romney pick a male or female VP?
After the Palin disaster, I don't think they will go there again with the election so borderline. I'm guessing a hispanic or black male.

1. Do you believe in "Global Warming"? Global warming? No. Climate change? Yes, definitely. Now, how much of that is naturally occuring and how much humans have impacted it I don't know.

2. Should MariJane be Legal and Taxed like Alcohol and Cigarettes? Yes. The amount of money spent on the enforcement of it is ridiculous, for the impact MJ has.

3. Is ObamaCare a good idea? What it is trying to achieve is good. Not sure about the specifics of what was put in place though. It has certainly helped some people.

5. Rate this year so far on a scale of 1 to 10. 8.5. Too many car problems to give it a 9, but the year has been pretty good to us.

]1. Do you believe in "Global Warming"? Yes. I strongly feel as if we are contributing greatly things that are happening. Media portrayal is a bit extreme? Probably. Do I feel that "global warming" is responsible for say the milder winter and super hot summer we have experienced so far this year? No. Normal weather fluctuations. (ie el nińo and el nińa) But I do feel steps do need to be taken to reduce pollutants being produced by mankind that have been proven to be affecting the ozone layer. But that isn't so much global warming as environmental awareness

2. Should MariJane be Legal and Taxed like Alcohol and Cigarettes? no. The most it should be legalized is for medical use prescribed by actual medical professionals (an even then it almost seems contradictory as smoking anything is NOT healthy) And honestly it needs stricter regulations than that I saw in California (pretty much anyone can obtain a medical marajuana card if you pay $40+ dollars to the "pot Drs") it can be of great benefit for multiple medical issues I do not dispute that... But making it legal and just taxing it is NOT the answer. Something can not go from illegal to legal with out repercussions. Just like smoking cigarettes, it is in general BAD for your health, we are fighting such a long and hard battle against cigarettes, why introduce this into legal territory? I agree it isn't as addicting as say cocaine or heroin but it is a psychotropic substance. It is not something that should be purchased at your corner store like cigarettes. IMO it would be like allowing Ativan or Xanax for purchase over the counter, like Tylenol. Not a good idea.

3. Is ObamaCare a good idea? The idea of it yes. Healthcare needs to be a priority. (my opinion may be biased though) though there could be a few tweaks to Obamacare yes. I have seen first hand the difference between people who have had access to insurance and regular Heath Care vs those who have not. And the difference is not pretty. "over turning Obamacare" would be about the worst thing that Romeny could do (if it were to come to that) it needs work and adjustments sure but abolishing it all together is also not the answer

4. Will Mitt Romney pick a male or female VP? Don't really give a ---- I'm not basing my vote on a VP candidate choice. And without spurring a debate I can't say much more either!!

I'd give it a 9. Things keep getting better for us this year so I'm not complaining about the small hiccups I've experienced lately. I'm gainfully employed for what I went to school for. Timmy is doing great and Tim is finally able to not stress about working so much because of my job situation improving greatly. After a few long and stressful years it is finally good to be able to say we it's a good year!!

1. I think we are affecting things however huge changes in weather and climate are in our geological history. Climate patterns change. Are we maybe speeding it up? Probably. Plus regardless of if we are or not who wants to breathe in crappy air and live by a big pile of trash.

3. Pretty much what cyndee said. Why does health insurence and medical procedures cost so much to begin with? Also not sure how this will affect people like my brother who makes an okay living but no health insurance and can't afford it while paying off student loans. Now he will be forced into buying it? I'm not 100% clear on how it is going to work.
