Hi ladies.

I know that everyone is different but I just wanted to know when in your pregnancy did you start to 'show'. I am now just over 9 weeks (ticker is slightly incorrect) and I feel that i look the same. Is it too early still?

Thanks!

Definitely still early, especially for first-timers. At 9 weeks, I looked smaller than I at 5 weeks. I finally got out of the "just-look-fat" stage between 23-25 weeks, which is normal.

I *think* I'm starting to show. . . but I don't know.

Fatima, I was going to send you a message today--I miss seeing you around. I noticed you haven't been on the DDC much. . . Make sure you give us regular updates!

I'm thinking I was about 13 wks when my clothes started fitting tight but I still wasn't really showing. I was around 23 wks when I actually started looking pregnant and not just fat too.

I'm super duper very early right now, but just wanted to add that this bloating is a killer. I can still get into my clothes & button everything, but I still feel my tummy sticking out. I don't need that extra help! I'm already a size 12 It's too early to tell everyone -no I'm not fat, just pg!- but it's also embarassing & not comfortable trying to suck in!
From the belly pics I've seen, I believe the bloating gets better in a few weeks...I hope so!

Try getting a Bella Band! It will help you not have to button your pants and still allow you to wear your regular clothes. Don't try to suck in--I think that's the worst thing you can do!

I'm almost 16 weeks and still don't really feel like I'm showing.

When I was about 10 weeks, I had a round belly but it was because of the bloat. Once the bloat went away, I went back to looking fat..

It really seems to be different for everyone, though!

I just started showing in the last 2 weeks. Seems like I "popped" right at 18 weeks, before that it was more like a beer gut. I could still pass for chubby in certain shirts but for the most part it's obvious that it's a baby bump.

I first started showing, with a lil bump that you could only see with my shirt pulled up and only if you knew what i looked like before i was pregnant!! And the bump got a lil more noticeable at 9 weeks!! And then I started showing through shirts around 15/16 weeks..Now it's really noticable and I LOVE IT!!

Thanks ladies for all the updates!
The bloating does settle after a while.
All my clothese still fit but my boobs seem to be growing at an exponential rate!!! I went for my cousin's engagement last weekend and couldn't fit the top half of my body into anything! ha ha

I was sooo anxious to start showing! At the time, I thought I started to show around 15 weeks, but I think it was more like 19 actually, looking back at my belly pics.
