Yay!!!! Im getting my BETA tomorrow morning!!!

whoohoo!! So I called my IVF docs to tell them that I got a :Bfp: from monday and 6 tests later it still shows +. I told her that I was wondering if I could get the beta done earlier b/c my butt hurts sooo much from the prog. injections. I have these big balls under my skin that it hurts. I can't sleep on my back or turn at night b/c the pain hurts to much. Ive been doing hot compresses and it does nothing really. When I went in on Friday for my prog test, I showed my butt to one of the nurses. She had told me that if I kept on like that on monday, to call them to see if I could maybe alternate btwn injections and suppositories. But with all the excitment on monday of the

I never called. I told the nurse today what the other nurse had told me and she had told me that my RE wouldnt switch me until he confirmed if I am was pregnant. So I told her that I got the confirmation and if I could do something or if I just wait til friday and she told me one day wouldnt hurt so I can go in for my beta tomorrow morning!!!! Yay! I hope I have good numbers! I asked her if they look for any # in particular and she said anything over 5. So I do hope that im way higher than 5 right now.

So by tomorrow afternoon I will know if im officially preggo!!!

Warming up the PIO and my butt before injecting it has really helped me.. I also sit on a heating pad for about 10 mins afterwards.

I have been icing my butt for injections...how do you warm up your injections?

Icing before hand isn't supposed to be good - because it doesn't let the PIO spread - hence the welts.

I draw up the PIO into my needle - change to the injection needle - then put the whole thing into a heating pad (like fold the heating pad in half so it's in the middle). I put the heating pad with the needle in it (just be careful) against my butt until everything is WARM (not Hot!). Inject it right away and it's pretty painless.

Thanks ladies!! I got home and tested again LOL...I didnt have that much pee in me b/c I had gone to the bathroom before I left work. And when I got home I tested and My test line is darker! Thank God!!! I wanted to test to make sure that I wouldnt show up tomorrow to the beta and it be 0 and them to think im crazyy
