So quick version - I've been having some pain in my left side - and it was really freaking me out - so I called my RE and he told me to come in today.
So I get there and first off my heart rate is sky freaking high - at 138 (blood pressure was normal).. I normally have a high heart rate at the Doc's because it freaks me out - but never that high.. anyways - I get called backed and they do an ultrasound to check everything out..
No ectopic that they can spot (thank god), I do still have some follies on my ovaries though. She has no clue what the pain is from so she's chalking it up to "normal pregnancy pains".. whatever that means. lol.
So now the good part - she let us get a real quick peek at my uterus to see baby.. Well there's just ONE gestational sac - BUT she saw 2 "structures" and she wasn't positive about what they are... it looked like 2 blobbies on each side of the sac.. She commented that it might be identical twins but that we'll know more at my real u/s next week (since this was supposed to be just a quick peek).
Everything else looked great and I measured w/in 2 days so she was really happy with that. My heart rate was still high - so I had to sit in the waiting room with the monitor on drinking water for a hour and a half before it went down to normal.

Now I can't wait for you next u/s. You have a higher chance of having identical twins w/ IVF than on your own. They haven't figured out why yet, but IVF eggs seem to like to split.

That's so exciting! I hope the pain goes away, but I'm glad it wasn't anything serious, and that you got a sneak peak!
