OK so I had my appointment. All is good. BP 112/82 (or something like that), her heartbeat was like 140-150's. She kept kicking the doppler over and over so it was hard to get a good reading! I think I did gain a pound, but I didn't gain any last time so that's good. Now to the fun part.....I did have a little more progress....I'm still 75% effaced (like 3 weeks ago) but now I have progressed 1 more cm so I'm dilated to a 2!!! So I asked the doc how long they would let me go past my due date and all that good stuff. He said that they don't induce before 39 weeks at all (to which I said, "I will be 39 weeks on Sunday!!!") But he said to come back next week and if I was still the same or with a little progress we could have an induction. So doc told me instead of making the appointment for next Friday to make it for like Tuesday or Wednesday and then if I haven't had any progress then they would have me come back in 48 hours for induction!!! So that's the latest in my world. By this time next week I could be holding little Paige in my arms!!!!!!!! How exciting! But we will see. I suppose if I've made some significant progress by Tuesday then they will just wait to let nature take it's course. But I'm still holding onto hope that the full moon will help me out Sunday!!!!!!

Awww Gwen I totally hear you about the discomfort! I will say that I hope that you don't end up being induced. My mother had 6 kids and the one time that she had to be induced with pitocin she said was the worst/hardest labor she went through. Have you tried any natural methods? Walking, sex, eggplant parm.... there are a few things that you can try. Hopefully one of them works
