I work as a parts and sales rep at Lennox Industries.

Some of the parts that I carry, are fairly heavy...(I am going to have to start using the wheeler more for some parts) Do I have to start limiting the amount that I lift? And if I do, by how much.

I should mention that sometimes when I lift something that is over my head, it does pull down there a bit...and I'm not sure if I'm maybe doing harm.

Thanks girls.

I think this is something you should ask your Dr. I know that I had been pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy patients up until 2 weeks ago. It was always a concern, but it was also my job and I hadn't been having any complications. Sooo my best advice would be to ask your Dr

Hmm, that's tough. i'd say discuss it with your Dr., but more than anything, listen to your body. if you find yourself getting really fatigued while lifting, moreso than usual, it is probably time to cut that part out of your job as much as possible.

It is just too early to tell anyone at work yet...so I don't want it to be too obvious...I will try and listen to my body as you said...and may just have to let my boss know if it is going to be too much...I need to try to remain unstressed at my job...on of our guys is going on holidays for a week, so much of everything is going to be falling on my shoulders...I just have to take things slow, and remember to breathe.
