For the last two weeks my breasts have gotten increasingly painful, yesterday they hurt so bad. Today I woke up and except for some tenderness on the outside edges of them, they feel fine. No pain at all. I am terrified I am miscarrying. What do you think? I am having some cramping but no bleeding yet.

My breast tenderness in the beginning didn't last very long. I wouldn't base much on that. As long as you aren't bleeding with your cramping, that could very well be normal too. Just try to relax and not worry about every little thing. It's a long journey with lots of aches and pains, and it can be scary wondering what's normal.

I Ditto Lauren. They hurt ALOT at first.... but it subsides. Actually in the beginning I think it came and went....

My boobs would hurt one day and not the next. Symptoms will flucuate thoughout the 1st trimester. The other ladies are right that as long as no (red) bleeding are accompanying the cramps, you should be okay.

Same thing happened to me! Don't worry, preggo symptoms are nutty--they really do come and go and change completely, only to come back again!
