UGH! So last night I hardly slept. Contractions kept waking me up. All night long. They were kind of painful, but not really bad, just enough to wake me up. So this morning I was pretty hopeful, but after taking a hot shower--nothing. Just regular BH now I think. All that lost sleep for nothing! I had some pretty powerful ones two, including one earlier in the night, but they just were not consistent. They were anywhere from 1-15 minutes apart and then just petered out.
So I guess its more sex, nipple twisting and spicy food for me! Joy You know, I even have had tons more gas and kept thinking about that being a symptom for Shanna. Maybe I could still go this weekend? I hope so, even though the whole thing is kind of scary esp. with all this anticipation.

Awww I know how you feel Michelle. It's not easy, especially if you go late and everyone else having their babies early. BTDT, it's hard. Hang in there chica! He'll come when he's good and ready! If you need or want to vent feel free to PM, cause I soooo know how you feel and sooo understand. Something that helped me..."the longer they cook the more their brain develops" Jack will be sooo smart!!!
I tried and did everything you did too....along with jumping jacks, bouncing on the yoga ball, eggplant parmesan, sushi, curry, jalepenos, pineapple, EPO, RRL tea, curbing walking, swinging on a swing, walking on the beach thru the sand. A few other ideas incase you want to try
Cant wait to meet baby jack when he's good and ready.

Thanks Lindsay I will try the jumping jacks, LOL. It bums me b/c the others have been talking about constant BH's for weeks! and I am just NOW getting them? I am trying to be patient though, but I suppose I could try harder
I got a stretch mark recently too. It is next to a scar I have on the side of my stomach, so I kind of expected to get something there since the skin isn't as stretchy, but still! The boy just wants to leave his mark

I'm sorry the wait is killing you! Don't know if it will help much, but three months down the road here I am missing being pregnant...and I had twins! lol. Try to enjoy the last week or so of feeling little Jack moving around inside you because pretty soon you'll miss the feeling...I know it's hard to believe right now! lol.

Who knows you may be one of those that have no symptoms and then all of a sudden you are in labor! Good luck!
Also I read your blog today...I tried leaving a comment but my computer kept freezing on that page. Anyway I think the thing on your finger might be a hemangioma (sp). I have heard of people getting them during pregnancy and they supposedly go away after you give birth. It is from all the extra blood vessels you have growing. I may be completely wrong though! I just know we had a mom recently (I work in a NICU) and she had one on her lip that they said was from pregnancy and would go away and it looked just like your finger.
Here is what I found while googling it:
Pyogenic Granuloma (Lobular Capillary Hemangioma): eMedicine Dermatology
This one says it can be found on the fingers as well. (look under the Physical section)
Pyogenic Granuloma: eMedicine Pediatrics: General Medicine

I dunno about that Michelle. I have had NOTHING... no contractions at all other than a few BH and zingers. I have not lost any of my plug and have nothing but discomfort... soooo I am thinking you will probably go before I do. OH and I have had people tell me that I have not dropped at all either...
Hahaha Linds You crack me up. I have tried several of the things on your list and to no eval. The only thing I got from the eggplant was some serious heartburn. Like I don't struggle with that enough! LOL I haven't tried the swing... maybe I should head to the play ground.

I know the feeling of wanting to meet the baby! I never had bad BH contraction...I did have a few nights of cramps, but never contractions. And you're right in saying that I had what I thought were gas pains the night before Camryn was born. I hope that is what you're feeling, because that means your body is doing a great job...opening your cervix with gas pain type cramps...YES PLEASE! When the real contractions start, you'll know it and wish you were just feeling those gas pains still! lol
Oh, and I never had any spotting or gross mucus plug loss before I went into labor either. I only starting spotting when my real contractions started which was not even 3 hours before Camryn was born.

Hopefully you won't have any signs, and all the sudden he'll just make his appearance! Well, with enough warning to get you to your hospital or birth center.

Michelle, that sounds exactly like the night I had before my water broke. It could be sooner than you think. You've probably been getting BH's, you just don't feel them. Your baby will be here before you know it! Enjoy these last few days of having him to yourself.

Yup you are 100% correct, that's what the biopsy said! I ended up having it removed b/c it got a bit bigger, but after about a week it grew back and is even bigger now! UGH! So we are leaving it until this little troublemaker shows up. I should update my blog, LOL
And thanks for the understanding to all you awesome women! He can't stay in there forever. Right?! LOL
