I thought I could use some advice from some grads. This morning I had a couple of short, stabbing pains in my lower, right side. I think I might have had a few yesterday too. Now I'm just a little crampy (like AF cramps). I just got a positive hpt on Friday, so I'm kind of worried. Has anyone else experienced or know what could be wrong? Thanks for your help!

Totally normal. You will be crampy pretty much all of the first tri off and on. And the stabbing pains are normal too. It is your uterus and your ligaments beginning to stretch.

Oh and stay hydrated! You will be more crampy if you are dehydrated.

I couldn't have said it better than April. The first several weeks are pretty scary because you don't know what is normal and what isn't

Ditto to the other girls. I def felt the same thing and was super scared. Pretty much the rule is unless you have bright red bleeding combined with cramping you are probably ok. Hang in there sweetie!!!

I also ditto everyone else. I was really crampy and had sharp pinching type pains for the first couple of months. I think its the implantation and such. Just wait...those pinching crampy pains will soon be round ligament pains! lol Pregnancy if full of little pains...but they're so worth it!

Yup, totally normal. And they hurt bad sometimes! It happens when I get up or move quick, sneeze, or cough sometimes!
