We had Allie's Baptism yesterday it was such a great day. It was rainy & chilly all week but yesterday it cleared up & was sunny & warm for her special day.

She was such a troopwr & was the only one out of the 10 other babies who didn't cry.
Afterwards, we had a dinner reception at a nearby country club. My grandmother's sister who's 80 & who I haven't seen in about 4 years (she lives in Newport Beach, CA) even came. I was so excited because she's the closest I have to my grandma who'd raised me & who passed away 4 days after Christmas in 2004. So it was awesome to see my great Aunt & have her meet Allie!!
Here are some pics:
(it was so hot that my hair poofed out like crazy... so much for blowing it out!

there were so many layers to that dress!! i can't believe she didn't cry 'cause i would have!
Allie's Godmother (my best friend since college... former roommate & sorority sister who's also Portuguese so needless to say my ILs were happy!
