Picked our pediatrician today...and 29w appt.

Today we met with our first pediatritian and we loved her! She also takes care of my nephews so she was highly recommended by my sister. I had originally planned on meeting with 3 different peds but two of them were crossed off my list by just calling the office. If I can't even get though to get an appt for an interview what happens when my baby is sick and I can't get throught to them! Anyway we decided we would meet with her and if there was anything we didn't like we would keep looking but she was great, the office was great and she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I am so excited we have a Dr for our baby! It feels so real now!

I also had an appt with my OB today...29weeks so nothing special this time. Just the usual listen for the HB, measure the belly, urine sample and BP. I did get my rogham shot today too and I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks!! That brings me to a total of 6! I gained more in 2 weeks than I have in 7 months! I guess it is the evening ice cream cravings!

You still have gained hardly anything! Good job picking a pedi, I didn't until the midwifes started hounding me at 38 weeks

I just can't believe how far along you are! Seems like yesterday you were announcing your long awaited BFP.

I couldn't either until I hit about 20w! Just the thought of anything sweet made me nauseous but now I want it all the time!

That's great you got to pick out the Dr. I live in a small town, and i don't think we even have a pedi here. The Dr. who delivers will probably be the dr. who takes care of the baby.

OMG is that all youve gained...i wont even tell you how much i have...actually they dont weigh us routinely here so i dont exactly know...but its ALOT. Anyways yay for picking your pedi...our month is looming closer

Yeah...I had noooo appetite for a long time so I actually lost initially and gained it back.

I can't beleive you've only gained 6 lbs! I don't know how much I have...but I know I will be over the average 35lbs when all is said & done! My dr will also be the baby's dr. I like family practice ones. Glad you found a dr you like.

I gained 42lbs!, and I couldnt eat anything sweet until almost 30 weeks. I´m glad everything is on track, only 10 weeks left!

So glad you found a pedi you like! Glad to hear that your appt went well. I can't believe you only have gained 6lbs! Ive gained double that and I'm only now getting ready for the second trimesters! LOL
