I have never been pregnant, so I could be wrong, but I think that brown spotting is perfectly normal. As long as it isn't bright red bleeding, everything should be fine.

I agree with Ash that it's normal. I've heard alot about pregnancy spotting. But if you are worried about it I would ring your dr. I've my crossables crossed for you and your little bean.
Good Luck honey

Brown spotting means it's old blood. Back in the good ol' days, prior to being sidelined with pelvic rest, I used to get periodic brown spotting after sex. It's no fun and I would always freak out as it's easier to do that than stay calm. Try to stay calm though, especially if it stays brown and/or goes away quickly.

I've heard of several women have brown spotting in early pregnancy, try not to stress out. If it gets heavy, turns bright red, and/or you get cramps too then you should call your doctor.

As for your symptoms feeling not as bad, they may come and go. I had some days where I've felt almost normal, like I'm not pregnant. Usually, my symptoms return soon though.

Thanks girls...you have helped me to feel better...I am trying not to stress and just relax...It was just a shock of looking every day a million times a day and NOTHING...and then...OMG there is something...I am trying to drink lots of water...(was really busy at work today, so didn't drink as much water as I should have) I have to do a few things around the house this evening, but have been taking it easy. (doing it in commercials while watching so you think you can dance)

As for my siggy...I love love love it as well!!! It's great.

Sorry for having a bit of a panic attack.

:doghug: all!!!

I would call your doctor if you're concerned sweetie. Spotting can be very normal. I've had spotting since before my BFP and the doctor seemed to think everything looked fine so far (although i am still waiting to find out for sure). Is it a lot or just a little? Do you have any cramping?

How much is there? My doctor told me to only be concerned if it was equal or more than a regular period, and if it didn't stop, and was coupled with bad cramps.

I think you will be okay, but call your doctor tomorrow just to be sure- he'll probably be able to reassure you!

Brown spotting is normal. A bunch of ladies in the Dec. DDC also had red blood (some with clots!) and when they went to the doctor their babies were okay. I think as long as it is not accompanied by really bad cramps you are okay. You are in my T & Ps. Please KUP on what happens with the doctor.

Thanks girls...its just brown again today...no red so far...and it's not every time I go to the washroom either...I am going to call my OB and see if I can see her sooner...maybe she can reassure me in some way...I'm trying not to be nervous about it, but you can bet I'm going to be more careful what I lift at work....(I do some heavier lifting, and I don't now if that is making a difference) It's getting harder and harder to keep it from people at work...

I still have some twinges near my right ovary...I'm not sure what that is about, but I am praying it doesn't get worse...

Twinges are very normal, my Dr said especially on the right side (although I don't know why one side particularly). I hope it's nothing and that you get some reassurance soon!
