Hi girls, I'm popping over from TTC#1 and TTC. Do you mind if I ask you a question? I'm going into cycle 6 of TTC and am thinking about buying a fertility monitor. I've been using OPKs and they normally work well for me, but having to take them with SMU instead of FMU really messes me up, and since the CBE monitor uses FMU, it would be a lot easier for me. I also like the simplified display and all the extra info it gives you. What do you think? Ripoff? Has it helped you? Please give me some input, I don't want to waste the money on one if they're not worth it.

I bought one and loved it!!! I think we used it for like 2-3 months before we finally got our BFP. I definitely think it helped a ton! I also temped and did OPK's...maybe a bit obsessive but loved the reassurance!!! I drove myself crazy with the OPK's because I could never tell if it was positive or not. I personally think the CBEFM is sooooo worth the money!!! I suggest buying the sticks on ebay. Just make sure they aren't expired. Unfortunately you have to buy the CBEFM new but the sticks can be anywhere. Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon!!!!

I got one after about 8 months of trying, but it didn't help us since we had an unexplained issue. Used it about 4 cycles with no luck so resold it and saw a fertility doc after a year of trying.

I didn't like mine - I ended up reselling it. I had irregular cycles though and it never predicted a Peak day even though I did ovulate.

I loved mine! That, combined with temping, really helped. I think it was totally worth my money!

I used mine for about 6 months, I got a peak every month but I think because I wasn't temping along with it, it didn't really help us. Once I started temping we got our bfp. I still have mine if you're interested. I was planning on selling it. Let me know.
