I'm alive!

So I am still in the hospital, day 6 for anyone that's counting. But I got my hands on a laptop and feel like I now belong with the living now so I wanted to say Hey!

I will be posting Jack's birth story soon. I didn't give too many details in the texts but it was pretty, what's the word I am looking for? Crazy? Bad? Traumatic? About as far away from the birth I had wanted as possible? All of the above! One for the record books I suppose. But I didn't go down without a fight, so stay tuned for that fun adventure.

Anyways, despite the many complications we should FINALLY be going home tomorrow morning with Jack who is super healthy and happy! I am just so in love with this little man Breastfeeding is going great too, and I will be sure to post some pics of my little guy soon. Uh oh, its booby time . . .

I'm sorry you didn't get the birth you wanted, but at least you know you did everything you could. I'm so glad that Jack is healthy and happy. In the long run, it's all that matters. I'm glad you're loving being a mom and that breastfeeding is going well. Isn't it just an amazing experience?!
