I got my BFP yesterday morning. My temp this morning dropped drastically. It could be because I slept more than usual, but not sure. My ovusoft software told me that I should call the doctor for a possible m/c due to low progesterone. I can't believe I have something like this worrying me already. Anyone have experience with this?

Now that you got a BFP...put down the thermometer!!!! Your temps will fluctuate a lot and only stress you out. I would be calling your Dr anyway to set up your first appt and some Drs will go ahead and do beta's and prog but some won't since it is your first pregnancy. It won't hurt to ask though just to give you the peace of mind. Congratulations!!!!

Thanks April... lol. Trying not to spaz, but it's so easy to worry about EVERYTHING. I can't even get a hold of someone to talk to on a monday morning, but I left a message, and hopefully they will get back to me soon. My temp is still above the coverline... so I guess we're ok for now. DH say it's time to throw that thermometer out, nearly a year old anyway

Congratulations on your

IA with April, step away from the thermometer. It will only cause you stress. I would deffinately suggest calling your OB and seeing if they can test your progesterone just to be sure. Some do automatically but some don't. I would ask though just to ease your mind. Good luck and KUP.

I ditto April. It's so hard to stop temping but all it will do is drive you nuts!!! Try to relax (even though I know it's hard) and make the doc appointment to get it confirmed that way. If you need more confirmation ( as I did) just POAS!!!!!

Thanks ladies! I was feeling better until my doctor called back. She said that wasn't good and sent me for blood work, and to get progesterone suppositories. Naturally no one had them in stock and I have to wait till tomorrow. ARGH.... Hopefully the blood work will be normal and the dang suppositories won't even matter.

Good luck hun! Sending lots of sticky dust your way. Try not to worry temps are very wacky after you get your bfp.

congrats! and i agree with everyone - just put the thermometer away. my temps were all over the place for the first few days after my BFP, and all it did was cause me to go crazy. once you get your BFP, you don't have to worry about temps anymore

thanks all of you. You're making me much calmer. It also helped having DH home now. We're going to go to the bookstore and read then go to bed and start a new day. Dh is good at ignoring bad news and making me relax.
