So yesterday afternoon I was standing at my water cooler filling up my water bottle and felt a gush come out of me. I was like wait thats not suppose to happen. So I went to the bathroom and I had a gooey orange discharge. I freaked out and called the RE, I was worried becasue I havent been cramping for a few weeks and I started cramping yesterday in the morning.
So I called the doctor and they told me that it could be possible that I have a hematoba (sp?) and that I needed to get scanned right away to see what was going on. Well she put the u.s in me and right away she said both babies are there! I was like thank god! and then shes like I found it. I have the hematoba. She said it wasnt big but it was there she showed my DH the area..she then told me that everything else was looking good and that when she pulled out the vaginal u/s wand she said that there wasnt any blood on it so that was good.
She told me to stay on bedrest for the rest of the day and take it easy and to keep my appt wiht my OBGYN today and then for my OB to tell me what she wants me to do exactly.
When I got home last night the spotting got a bit heavier so I was wiht my feet up all night and slept on the couch all night. I am still a bit concerned but still trying to be hopeful since the babies were looking good yesterday. I hope my appt. goes well today and that the spotting stops.
I will update later

Oh no! I am sorry you have had a scare. I know people who have had hematoma's and it usually doesn't affect the babies. I am pretty sure Karly (Boo Boo) had one with her LO. Keep your feet up and update us after your appt today!

Hope your appointment goes good today. I'm glad the babies are doing good though! Hopefully this turns into something minor and you get back on your feet soon.

I'm sorry Jessy. Scares are never fun. April's right, I did have a subchorionic hemorrhage (or subchorionic hematoma) when I was pregnant with Christian. I spotted a few days before I got my BFP (which I thought was the start of AF) and then started spotting again 3 days after I got my BFP. I ended up spotting and bleeding until about 18 weeks or so, which is when I had an u/s that revealed the SCH had repaired itself. It was VERY scary not knowing what was going to happen, whether it wouldn't affect my baby, would repair itself or take a traumatic turn and cause me to miscarry. I'm not saying that's going to happen to you and the fact that yours is small is very good. Mine was small as well and all is well. I hope and pray everything works out. *hug* Oh and be prepared to be put on "couch rest". I was on pelvic rest & "couch rest" (not confined to my bed) until everything was fine. I ended up taking it as easy as I could during the rest of my pregnancy because I was too afraid to do anything too strenuous. Anyhow, good luck at your appointment today. KUP!!!

I am glad they found the cause of the bleeding, and I hope that i heals itself very soon. Try to enjoy your extra relaxation time as much as you can!

I'm glad both babies are fine. I bled through my entire 8th week of pregnancy. Just do what the DRs say and I'm saying prayers that everything will be ok

I'm sorry you're on bedrest. Hopefully the hematoma will drain and repair itself quickly and that worry will be off your mind! Sticky for your babies
