I guess my office's policy is that your doctor can give you your lab results? My doctor was at a delivery today, so another doctor read the results and gave the nurse something pretty scripted to say... grrr. My progesterone is fine, I don't have to take the suppositories I spent 50 bucks on lol. My quant was low but positive. (What do they expect at 12 DPO?) So I'm going for another draw tomorrow morning. I don't think the office is open on friday... so who know when I'll get my results! Ah well... I guess I can take this news as good.

My first quant was 16, so don't worry about it being low! Looking forward to the next one.

Glad you got some results...I definitely agree with Christine that low beta numbers at this point would be expected...glad to hear that everyone is okay with your progesterone level though...

...good luck with the next set of labs!

i'm glad that everything was fine. I'm super annoyed that nobody will give me a quant, just the qualitative. I look forward to hear future results!

Don't worry about it being low...the Dr probably didn't realize that you were so early because most people don't go in until after AF is late...except for us POAS addicts!

Is a quant the same as a beta??? Sorry, I dont' know all the terms...I know lots of girls have said this early on the first number is low...so don't worry. As long as it doubles, you are good to go...I don't know if I said it before, but congrats alice!!

yes, i'm not sure how the term beta came around, but the test at a hospital is called a quantitative HCG draw, or quant for short.

Thanks for the congrats ladies!

Wooohooo congrats! A low quant is still a positive quant. Don't worry about it being low 12dpo is very early. Can't wait to hear about your next results. Good luck and lots of sticky dust!!!
