YAY... First, it must have been so nice to talk to your mom for the first time about pregnancy. Second, hopefully that is a sign that you will get away with no sickness!!!
My mom told me she had a pretty easy pregnancy with me, minimal sickness, no swollen anything (except the belly, of course) and I was lucky enough to never throw up once during the first trimester. Hopefully genetics plays some role!

Hopefully that means you won't have any either. Good luck! My mother had mild m/s and the same thing happened with me. Mine wasn't really bad but I did have some.

That's great news.

My mom had morning sickness, as in she just had it in the morning and had to eat crackers before getting out of bed. She never vomited though and neither did I, but I had all day sickness (ugh).

Good luck!

Right now, the tiredness is kicking in, that and sore BBS are it...
AM definitely hoping I mimick my mom - I dont want to get to know my toilet so personally - LOL

Erin-

We told both sets of parents yesterday...I'm so so so nervous with all the losses that have happened to TTC#1 girls lately, but we are just so overjoyed that I wanted them to share in the happiness

My Mum had an awful pg with me, ending with pre-e and a rapid forceps delivery, I had a perfect pg no m/s or anything.

Lets hope you follow your mum! Isnt it great watching their faces when you tell the news!!

Awesome news!! My mom never had m/s either - and so far I haven't had any real m/s (just occasional bouts of nausea - rare though).

I know how scary it has been with the losses in the TTC #1 group but remember that everything happens for a reason so you can't judge your pregnancy by what has happened to others, as tragic as it was. Try to relax and enjoy yours, especially since your betas are fantastic

I know, easier said than done but you will be able to breathe a bigger sigh of relief when you have your first ultrasound!

I hope you follow your mom! My dad said my mom had awful m/s, but I never had a minute of it. I did luck out and not get any stretch marks like her, though.
