I have to first say...I LOVE MY DOCTORS!!!
They really do understand that we worry so much about every little thing especially everything I have gone thru I am just a ball of nerves.
She did an exam on me and she thinks that my pains are coming from the ligaments under my uterus that are not strong enough. and since I have my uterus growing with two babies, that is probably what is causing my pains and cramps. She told me to get a support belt like the bella band.
She told me that I could go in at anytime. and that she would even see me every week if I want. I told her that wasnt necessary, I was just nervous becuase of the pains increasing.
She did an u/s and saw both babies perfectly! They have grown soooo much! One baby was being good, he was turned on his side and she was able to get a good crown to rump measurement, but the second baby is our stubborn one he was facing up and did not want to turn, he wiggled a little bit but no turning, so she couldnt get a good measurement. She measured what she could and it came out to 8wks3days but she thinks its just because of the angle, since he wouldnt turn.
It is super cute! I can see their arm and leg buds already! It was soo wonderful! I was crying like an idiot!
Well here are my lil munchkins!

Glad the cramping wasn't anything bad. Your doctor sounds great. And even better, you have healthy babies!

No they are fraternal twins. I did IVF and when I did the IVF they put back 2 embryos and both of them stuck. So as far as I know they are frat. watch me end up with identicals I think the doctor would have known though...I guess we will have to wait and see. My husband has been saying from day one that both were going to stick and that it was a boy and girl so hopefully its that! That would be awesome! The best of both worlds!

Congrats on the great appointment. I had similar pains, but a little later on. At one point, I felt like I was riding 100 miles on a bike every day. I have a pregnancy support belt now that I wear if I'm walking around. I just got it a few weeks ago and love it.
I'd say your babies are definitely fraternal by looking at the shape of their sacs. Usually identicals don't have that nice tear drop shape between sacs. I don't have a good scanner or I'd post one of my early pics. I just pulled them out and looked at them this morning. You can't see 2 distinct sacs like you can here. We just see one large oval sac with a very thin membrane between them.

Awwww...I love gummy bear pics!!!! They look great Jessy...you should be very proud! And round ligament pains are definately hard to distinguish from AF like cramping in the beginning. I went in around 15 weeks for the same reason. I am so glad to hear everything is ok and your peanuts are growing so well!
