did your baby drop? If so, when? How were you sure the baby dropped? Did you look different?

The baby moves differently now, and I have constant pressure/pain much lower than I used to now. I also now occassionally get sharp pains in my hoo-ha, from, I think, her punching my cervix...
But I still have really bad heartburn. So I don't know for sure if she's dropped.

My daughter never really did. She was still quite high up until the time I went into labor. Then again I ended up with a c/s because she "failed to descend". Turns out the cord was around her neck
But I did have a lot of pressure down low & lots of aches & pains. As they get bigger, they run out of room so any movements they make cause their mommies lots of discomfort. Not to mention your body is also preparing for labor so everything is stretching out & getting ready. I don't miss those last few weeks at all! Hang in there mama!!

Oh yes, I know exactly what pains you are talking about. It just plain sucks. I don't think I really "dropped" until the VERY end - like in the hospital!?!?! But I had a TON of those sharp pains in my va jay jay...doc told me it was localized contractions - not sure exactly what that means, but it just plain sucked!!! Hang in there girl - these last few weeks are a pain, but it's just your body preparing you for labor.

Yep he totally dropped (engaged in my pelvis) at like 35 weeks or so I believe. He dropped more when we were at DisneyLand and I could barely walk around I was in so much pain. You can tell from my pics too.

I think Christian dropped a little at a time starting a few weeks before my due date but I remember having a lot more pressure and crotch zingers a few days before I went into labour so I think he dropped A LOT then.

I don't think he dropped until the night I went into the hospital to begin my induction. I agree that most of the aches and pains are just from them running out of room!
