I've been feeling big lately. I went to my weekly appointment today. I lost weight since last week, but I'm measuring 36 weeks. No wonder I'm getting so uncomfortable.

I talked to my doctor to make sure she would be doing my csection if I have one, which she will. Thankfully! I also asked her how she puts me back together as I really didn't want staples. She refuses to use staples She mentioned that if I made it to 38 weeks, we'd do a scheduled csection if B isn't head down. I can't imagine 8 more weeks of being prego when I'm already measuring 36 weeks. Yikes!

I'm still hoping B will flip. She's moved over the last few days, so there's still a chance, but I'm quickly running out of room.

WoW so your measuring 6 wks ahead already. I do hope that they decide to come at around 36 wks. My doctor told me the same thing yesterday that she will not let me pass 38 wks. That I will have a csection scheduled for that day but she thinks I will go earlier. She said that most of her twin patients always schedule at 38 wks and never make it to that...I hope you feel a bit better soon!!

btw in total how much have you gain with the twins til this point?

I'm up 24 lbs this week, was 25 last week. My doctor told me I'm not allowed to go backwards My appointments are usually in the morning right after breakfast though and this week it was right before lunch.

Is that 36 weeks of twin pregnancy, or a single size pregnancy?
I measured 37 at 33 weeks and thats when they styarted worrying sbout her size!.

You´ve only gained 25lbs? thats amazing! I gained 42!!, and it still looked all baby in the photos!

They measure and date as if it were a singleton pregnancy. So if I were carrying one, this is about how big I'd expect to be 6 weeks from now. If I carry to 36 weeks like I'd like, I'll measure past 40 weeks.

There's a triplet mommy in the Aug DDC who was measuring about 50 weeks last week.

I always wondered about the measuring thing. I was measuring 43 when I delivered (my 6lb 3oz monster!!). It made me worry when they said 44 weeks though.

OMG I couldnt imagine measuring 50 weeks!. I hope you manage up to 36 weeks though. (even if you do get up to 50!!)

You've done so great keeping them in so far. Hopefully you'll make it to that 36 week mark!
