Wow. no one warned me that the vag progress check exams are SO uncomfortable! And I get to have one every week now!

Well, I am not dilated at all yet. (I was hopeful...I know it is still early) But I am 30% effaced! And the baby dropped really low for being 36 weeks, the dr said. So maybe she will be anxious to come out and will be early! (but it def explains all my new discomforts)

Also got the strep test. I hope I am negative, cuz I don't want to be on an IV during labor...

Eh... Just you wait until they check you while you're in labor

I can't speak for anyone else but I think that part hurt more than the actual giving birth part. Anyone? Just me? OK...

Oh yeah, NOT comfortable at all - especially during a contraction!! Anyway, 30% effaced is great this early. The dilation can come on super quick, but the effacement is what matters!!!

I emailed you Amee, did you get it? Just making sure we have everything set so if you go into labor early I can update everyone!!!

yes, sorry, I am very forgetful. I will email you back right now.

I always thought it would probably hurt a lot to be going through labor pains and have someone shove their hand up your hoo-ha! Now I have that to look forward to, too!
