She is awesome!! She has had four kids, all naturally, and is so full of useful information. The best part is she only lives two blocks away from me!! So she can be over her so fast once I go into labour!!

The last mom she had laboured at home until she was 9.5 cm before they went to the hospital I am so excited, she is going to email me a book list, but I have probably read most of them already

Sweet! I was supposed to meet my Doula last week but she had to cancel. We're rescheduled for Tuesday the 14th - I can't WAIT to finally meet and talk to her!

Yah I want to stay at home as long as I can before I go to the hospital. Where I live that is the only option, there are no midwives or birth centers, so home birth was out of the question for me (which is what I really wanted) but she used to work for one of the OB's here and knows most of the nurses and doctors, so that is also a plus!!

Yay, I'm glad you found someone you like! A doula can make all the difference if you're trying to have a natural childbirth. I wish I had been able to afford one.
