Just to get to know each other a bit better, how did you meet your SO? How long have you been together/married?

Haha... mine is an interesting one. I met DH at a beauty pageant when I was 13 and he was 15!! I was competing and he was there with his mom and some friends (who's daughter was competing). We "dated" some back then and on and off over the years... but have been together for the past 4 years and married a little over a year!

I met my DH through a freind. I had just turned 16 and he was 17 going on 18. We dated all through HS and college and tied the knot in '05'. so all in all we've been together for 14 years

My DH and I met on match.com!

We started talking in January of 2006, got engaged in October of 2006, and married in August of 2007.

I met my DH on-line, too, lauren! We chatted for about a week, then met in person and the rest is history. The funny thing is that I had met him before. . . I worked at an elementary school at the time (about a year before we really met) and he was working at a junior high across the street. He spent a day or two on my campus with my self-contained students. We met, but neither of us thought anything of it!

We met in February, 2005. Engaged March 2006. Married April 28, 2007. We have been together for a little over 4 years.

DH and I met in line at a bar in college. I was 21 and he was 22. I had a friend with me who was 17 and he had his sister with him who was 18. I saw him signing and wanted to find out how he learned, so I cut ahead about 50 people in the line and started talking to him. I could hear him talking, so knew he wasn't deaf. I wasn't interested in him at all, just wanted to know about the signing as I'd always wanted to learn. We hung out all night and then our groups split up and went home. The next day we both found out that my friend and his sister had exchanged our numbers. They pestered both of us until he finally broke down and called. There was no way I was calling the random guy I'd met at the bar. That was 10 years ago and we've been married for 7.

DH was my boss at work! LOL. I started working there in 2001. He tried to get me to go on a date with him for almost 2 years, but I kept saying no. Finally I decided to give him a chance. The rest is history. We started dating in 2003, got engaged in May 2006 and married in October 2007.

DH & I met online, too, in May 2005. We met in person & were engaged in July 2005 (both happened during the same trip) and we were married in Nov 2006.

DH and I met in HS- dated for 7 years- got married in 06 and now have been married for 3 years- so together for 10 years!

DH and I met through a friend when I was 19 and he was 20. We dated forever and got engaged in late 2006 and have been married for a year.

We met online as well - talked for awhile - met in person on July 8th 2006 - started officially dating the next day - got engaged about 3 weeks later and got married about 3 weeks after that on August 26th, 2006 - so this coming August we'll have been married for 3 years.

It happened quickly but really I wouldn't change anything

DH and I met when we were both 21. It was Labor Day weekend before our senior year of college, well, MY senior year. DH was a "super" senior! LOL! Anyway, we got introduced through a mutual friend at an "after bar" at his house. We became exclusive on our 2nd date and married 5 years later!

My bestfriend and I decided to take a trip (I had never been anywhere before) so for our birthdays we went to Mexico. I met my husband the first night at our resort, we drank and danced and ended up spending the whole week together (I never even slept in my own hotel room) We only lived 2.5 hours away from each other, so we started dating long distance, I moved in with him about two months later. We went back to Mexico (to the same resort we met at) a year and a half after we had first met and got engaged

We have been married almost a year now.

To top it off, we found out we were pregnant on our honeymoon, in Mexico, of course

I met Si online at ChristianCafe.com.

We started talking March 2006, met in person April 2006, got engaged December 2006, got married on the day we started talking March 2007.

I met DH at work!! We were just friends at first. Started dating Nov 2002. Got engaged Aug 2004 then married Oct 2005!!! We will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary this year!!!

I love getting to know how everyone met there DH's...

My DH was actually my ex's good friend (awkward I know) but you can't control who you fall in love with. We were friends before hand, started dating in 2004, engaged in 2007, and married in 2008.

(btw DH is no longer friends with that friend)

I met DH through a mutual friend. Not a set up though. I started playing softball with this guy I got along well with and he was having a party, so I went with a friend of mine and DH was there. We didn't really talk much that night (actually apparently he asked me to be his partner in beer pong and I said no

) but after that I asked my friend if he was single, and the next time we went out he got my phone number. That was October 04, we got engaged in Oct 06 and married Sept 07. So we've been together 5 years in October. That went by fast!

We met the first day of "preview week" at University of Florida...its a week set aside during the summer to have incoming freshman get to know campus, other freshman, and register for classes...we scheduled classes together...and both really liked each other...we hung out all the time, but he was too shy to ask me out until 3 years later...in 1997...

On New Years Eve 1999, we got engaged...married in 2002...and now on to baby
