I am 39 weeks today and starting to get impatient!!!! I really want to meet my baby girl!

I have really enjoyed (and still am enjoying) being pregnant! If my little girl would stop growing, she could stay in there for another month or two! But, since she is getting bigger, I want her OUT!

I had a Dr's appt today and my OB said she is about 7.5 lbs or less, so she is a good size. I am 1cm dilated (the same from my 37 week appt) and 50-60% effaced. She said I have a very favorable cervix and decided to strip my membranes! I am really hoping this does something! My Dr. told me to expect some cramping tonight if it was going to work. It's been about 7 hours and no cramping so I am doubting it is going to do anything.

I am just getting really anxious. It is hard to keep my mind off of it!

You are so close! I wish you were cramping. I can't wait to 'meet' your little girl. KUP on how things are going.

Those last few days it was like I couldn't focus on ANYTHING but baby, delivery, preparing for both, etc. I hope that little girl comes along to meet you sooner, rather than later, Andrea!!!!

How exciting, Andrea! Did anything happen in the night after having your membranes stripped? I hope the next week or so goes by quickly for you and that your little girl arrives safe and sound. She sounds like she's a great weight!

Nothing happening as of yet. I may have been more crampy last night then usual, but it was really hard for me to tell since I was paying such close attention! I couldn't tell either if I was having some cramping last night. Sometimes my dreams are so vivid it is hard to tell if I was making them up or not!

I was the same about staying pregnant for a month more!, I felt better at 39 weeks than I did at 34!
But then it all happened so quickly at 39+3!! Best advice: sleep loads and have a nice long bath and a proper meal with DH and get some nipple cream!

Oh you poor thing... By 39 weeks, I couldn't stand one more day. Luckily for me, I went at 39.1. The end is very uncomfortable & anxious. You look for every sign. I hope she doesn't keep you waiting much longer! I started EPO & nipple stimulation as soon as I could...I couldn't wait a minute more to go into labor! lol You're almost there!!

I'm doing pretty well today. I took some time off of work, so this was my first day back in a week. Although I was pretty upset about having to go to work this morning, it was nice to do something to keep my mind occupied!

I keep have BH and pressure so I am hoping things keep progressing. I hate looking at every sign! But, that's what we do!
