The Power of Prayer

I have been feeling extra sick today and didn't get much sleep last night because I've been stressed.

So DH took me to see my obgyn today at 2:30 p.m.

I told him about the bleeding showed him the results from the other 2 doctors at urgent & extended care. I told them they both told me we were losing the baby. (other doc called today)

He said, "No they're crazy." and preceded to tell me that HCG numbers don't matter when you are this far along because they can go up and down even in a matters time. He said after 10,000 they are no longer 100% useful in determining the health of the baby.

So he did an ultrasound and we saw our baby and the heartbeat!

He said our baby is very healthy.

I was crying and speechless. We both couldn't believe our eyes.

As for the bleeding he said it could have been my body releasing unhealthy tissue or something of the sort. He says it's of no concern.

Thank you so much ladies for praying for us. That's what the power of prayer can do!!!!!!!!!! You gals are amazing and thank you for not losing hope even when I did.

What great news! I had some bleeding early on, a lot of us did, and my doctor said that 1/3 of pregnancies have unexplained bleeding. I hope this helps you relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

Oh Nancy I am so happy to read this!! I was so heartbroken to see you were going through such a bad scare... I know how you must have felt, and I am hoping and praying I never have to go through it again either. It makes my heart happy knowing you have a little beating heart and a growing bean in there.
