Sorry I have been MIA girls. I find that I can't get online much during the day anymore and I try to cram everything in at night and just can't.
Nathan is 2 months old now. I just can't believe it! We are still struggling with his reflux. It seems to have actually gotten worse if that's possible. We switched medication 3 days ago, so we'll see if that helps. It's supposed to take 5 days to kick in. I'm really hoping it does, because this is just so hard. I envy all the Mom's that can feed their kids then leave the house, or put them down, or play with them, etc. We have to feed him, hold him still for at least 30 mins, then hope that when we move him he doesn't spit it all back up which happens more often than not. And up to 2 hours afterward!
Other than the reflux issues he is just such a wonderful baby. He's very happy, and just loves being around people. He's very alert now and stays awake most of the day.
We just got the disk back from his first professional photo session! They retouched our actual prints but not the pics on the CD, but I wanted to post some of our favorites anyway They were taken at 6 weeks, so this was 2 weeks ago.

Awesome pics! What a handsome little man you have there! I just want to say that I know what you're going through with the reflux. Isabella has it really bad and I have to hold her 30 min after each feeding too. The girls are 5 months on Thursday and she still has it really bad. I give her Zantac 2x a day in her bottle and the Dr. lets me put in 1 tsp of rice cereal now too. The meds seem to help, but nothing takes it away altogether. I hear stuff like that starts to clear up around 6 months, and I'm really hoping it does! PM me if you ever want to whine or talk about it! LOL. Isn't it so sad to see your little one suffer just to eat? It just breaks my heart!

I'm so sorry he's having such trouble with reflux. Poor little guy! I hope you can find something that does the trick and gives him some relief soon.
He has changed so much and is getting big! You must be so proud of him.

aww Lisa, Nathan is so cute!! My niece had bad reflux and was put on zantac and cereal in her bottle. That helped but she still spit up alot. It did get better around the 6 month mark, though.
Glad to hear everyone/everything is going well

He is such a little love! Those pictures are just gorgeous
I'm sorry about the reflux issues...we went through all of that with Allie too. Thankfully it's starting to get MUCH better. We tried many different formulas (she was on Similac Sensitive for a while which we thought was helping...nope!) & eventually switched doctors. The first time the new pedi saw her, he immediately suggested trying soy which we did & it's helped her TREMENDOUSLY. She's still on Zantac 1ml 2x a day. In addition, the bottle I give her right before bedtime & the first one of the day I add a little oatmeal to. We tried rice cereal, but it made her constipated & her little tummy cramp The oatmeal keeps her regular (a big help since the soy can also cause hard poo's), helps keep her fuller longer, & seems to help the reflux. So for the last 3 weeks, she's been a different baby.
We spent the last 3 months keeping her propped, washing zillions of clothes, & all that other fun stuff!
