I never have much time online, little miss Ana can only occupy herself for 20 minutes!! So I love reading all the updates in one place!.

Mine is that Ana now giggles and laughs all the time, especially when I´d like her to sleep!. She is now 12lb so gaining really well, still 100% mummy milk. She can roll both ways and now sleeps in her big girl cot. Her 2 bottom teeth are really through now, and she can bite your finger. (or her own, which makes her cry!). Shes 14 weeks now

umm, started maternit leave friday so have been trying to get bits done, cleaning, picking up bits to take to hospital etc. mainly just waiting now. Got a midwife appointment in half an hour as bp was up a little (for me) last week. Have been feeling pressure down below, when i feel it i almost think my waters are going to break.lol dont know how else to explain it. Bella had started engaging already so im wondering if this is her pushing her way down further. thats about it really. would love to see updatesfrom those who havent posted in a while if they are about, Jamielynn, Brenda, Jamie,Krystal, Heather,and the many others! you know who you all are!!

40 weeks +1 today. Only 5 more days until my induction. I am really hoping Poppy comes before that though. I have been feeling good. I am 80% effaced and 3 cm dilated, so my body is making progress!

Almost half way there! I can't believe I'm going to be 20 weeks on Friday. It seems like things are really flying by now. Now that we know we are having a boy I really need to start concentrating on what we need to buy. It gets a little overwhelming at times thinking about all we need to do. My next appt isn't till August and I think it will be just a regular checkup. I had my Quad screening test last week, I'm still awaiting my results. I pray everything is ok.

I am going to be ten weeks tomorrow...a quarter of the way cooked!! I will be going for another ultra sound in the next couple of weeks to make sure everything is progressing normally, and will be going on the 10th of August to see if we can hear the heart beat!!! I can't wait to hear my LO's heart beat!!! Seeing it was awesome, but hearing it will be amazing!!!

I was six weeks yesterday, absolutely no bump quite yet...

but, had my first ultrasound yesterday and was measured at 5wk6days...saw baby's heart beating away and absolutely melted into a mushy pool of love

I had my last doctor's appointment and ultrasound yesterday. The doctor went over everything to expect with the c-section. I'm kind of bummed that it's not until 2pm next Tuesday. She said I can have a piece of toast and a drink at 4am, but that I can't have anything to eat or drink after that. I think I might die without drinking all day!

At our ultrasound, we got to see our little boy one last time. Actually, I was having nightmares that maybe he wasn't a boy since they only checked once at 19 weeks. But the good news is that he showed us his goods, and he's definitely still a boy! We got to see him practicing breathing, and once we saw him swallow. So cool! He's just a little peanut at an estimated 5 pounds 9 ounces. I'm hoping he'll gain a little more in the next week. He was 1 week 6 days behind as an average in measurements which put him in the 22nd percentile. I'll just have to fatten him up once he gets out!

We also had a breastfeeding class at the hospital last night. It was pretty good, and I'm glad we went. Hopefully that will go well. I'm so tired of hearing how important the skin to skin contact immediately after birth is. I won't get to hold my baby for an hour at least. Oh well. We do what we have to do for our health.

I was supposed to meet my mom for lunch today, but I cancelled because I have so much to do around the house. Right now I'm doing baby laundry and cleaning out our guest room which still has Christmas stuff in it! I had morning sickness so bad at Christmas time that I never put one decoration up. So all of the bins and boxes that my husband took out were still sitting down there. Pretty bad, huh? Grandma needs a place to sleep though, so at least it got me down there working!

Almost 21 weeks! I'm so excited.

And I think I have a pro-kick boxer in my belly! She was kicking & punching up a storm this morning, felt like she was moving all around. Too bad my DH wasn't here, he still hasn't felt her kick and there's no way he could have missed it today.

My next doctor's appointment is Monday and then Tuesday I'm going in for a 4D u/s. Hopefully the baby will spread her legs for us and give us a good view this time around. I'm ready to shop but afraid of doing it too soon in case she's not a girl at all!!!!

I am 13 weeks 1 day! Yay for the second trimester! Although I haven't started feeling any better yet...

I have a doctors appointment today and am hoping to hear the heartbeat again. The doc was able to hear it at 10 weeks. I'm still huge from bloating but am hoping for a real baby bump soon.

Lauren, try not to worry too much about the skin to skin contact. I didn't get any contact with Christian until after he was cleaned off & checked over and I was stitched up. BFing has gone perfectly fine and it has not hindered our bond in any way. You'll be just fine!!

As for us... same old, same old. Christian is teething and still on a poopy sleeping schedule but we're all alive and well so that's what's important.

well i am 28.2 weeks. not much has really been going on. Jayla is moving so so much more now. its almost like ifeel her constantly...well like 20 hours out the 24 hour day. last night i was sitting on the couch and she was moving alot so i lifted my shirt to see if i could see her because ive seen a kick here and there and all the sudden my stomach just started popping. it was like 5 in a row all in different spots. i love it! i dont know what she was doing in there, but i may just have a lil dancer on my hands.

i had to go in today for my rhogam shot. it wasnt too bad. they took a vial of blood then took my to l&d to get some vitals then to give me the shot. my bp was 109/67 so still lookin good!! and her heartbeat was in the strong 150s. so all looks good!

i have an appt on the 20th with my dr. im sure it will be short and uneventful, well at least i hope.

but lately i have had tons of people coming up to me asking when im due and telling me im about to pop. but i really dont mind. im just happy to look pregnant and not just fat! and i actually dont mind random people touching my belly....well at leasts friends of friends or something. now maybe a complete stangers in wal-mart or something...but havnt had that happen yet.

Welp, I took Allie to the pedi on Saturday because they wanted to make sure nothing else was going on besides the suspected teething. The dr checked her & said he doesn't see any teeth coming through so he doesn't think she's teething Huh? She's still fussy & sucking & chewing furiously so I think I'm just going to disregard that little tidbit...esp since he said she could have teeth in 3 days or 3 months because you just never know.

Other than that, we're good. She loves to belly laugh now. My brother in law took a video of her the other night laughing up a storm. I've been harrassing him to send it but so far, nada I can't wait to get it & post it!! But for now, here's one of Allie & one of her many conversations...she loves to talk.

My lil guy is going to be 6 months old in a week!!!!!!!! :'( I'm soooooo sad!!! ;'( he is growing up way too fast, I didn't say he could!!!!!! Seems like just yesterday we found out he was a boy! (actually it was almost a year ago) He's teething like crazy, he can sit up all by himself - get from all 4s to his butt, he discovered his tongue the past 2 days and has been "talking" like crazy, he still crawls backwards and is trying to stand.

I'm just over 14 weeks and feeling good! Actually, to be honest, have had a mysterious headache the last two days (had plenty of sleep and have been drinking a ton of water, and I'm not sick, so really not sure what is causing it) but other than that I'm feeling soooooooooo great compared to several weeks ago. Hooray for second trimester!! We heard the heartbeat again last week on Tuesday, which was awesome, and we finally get to meet our Doula tonight! I am super super excited for that - if she's even half as cool as she sounded on the phone, she will be a fantastic addition to the day of birth. As I've said in other threads, I really want a natural birth, and especially as a first-timer, having a coach in there who can be my guide and advocate is going to be really important. Other than that, not a whole lot else is new. Need to take some pictures of my belly...no real 'pop' yet but I'm definitely bigger than I was at the time of my last photos (11 weeks).

I'm 12 wks 4 days - feeling great.. nothing really exciting going on. I have my echocardiogram on Monday.. hopefully everything is good.

Rachel...caffeine may get rid of your head aches. I rarely drank caffeine before getting preggo. I was getting really bad headaches though and someone here told me to try some caffeine. It didn't take much and it solved the problem.


Put a fork in me. I'm done! I can't believe I have 4 more weeks until my goal of 36. I've hit that uncomfortable twin mark. I'm measuring over 40 weeks now. I'm only up 25 lbs, but that's enough to be uncomfortable. I don't want the girls to make their appearance yet because I don't want them to have NICU time. I have 4 more weeks on my terbutaline pump and then I'm done. Maybe I'll have some good contractions as soon as I'm off that.

I hope to find out this Thursday how much the girls weigh. I don't trust the doctors estimate from last week.

Rachel, You might try drinking some caffeine to help with the headaches. It really helped me to have a regular Coke when I got those headaches.

I love these threads! Paige will be 5 weeks tomorrow!!! We have had a rough week or so. She has been soooo fussy and we noticed it was after feedings. I'm still breastfeeding so I thought maybe it was something with me or that she wasn't getting enough. Well, I've had her weighed and she's gaining just fine. In fact she's up to 8lbs 14oz from 7lbs at birth!! Anyway, we went to the lactation people yesterday and she started describing acid reflux and that fit her to the T. So we came back to the doctor today and they gave us some meds for her. I'm so praying it helps her. She is so fussy and it seems like she's in pain. DH goes back to work on Monday so I'm all alone with her. I'm concerned but I have to be alone at some point. That's about all for now.

Lauren - don't worry about the skin to skin thing. Paige was born at 7:15pm and I didn't even hold her until 10:30 pm. Actually I was too out of it from everything that had happened that I didn't even attempt to BF until the following morning and we are doing great!
