Title is self-explanatory.
We want our kids to be close in age (both DH and I are and have closely spaced siblings) and have planned on starting to TTC when Christian is about a year old - which is about a month and a half away. Obviously a lot can happen and change in that amount of time, but for now, I'm not ready yet. I thought I would be itching to have another baby by now, and I'm not quite sure what it is that is holding me back from reaching that ready stage, but I have zero baby fever. DH is pretty well ready whenever I say "go", so I don't think I'll have any issues convincing him. I just need to convince myself. lol

I hope to soon also, mostly because of my age though. If I am going to have another baby, I don't want to wait too much longer. I am thinking that we will start paying more attention to TTC around Octoberish. DH is totally on board with me now, it took a little talking and convincing because he was deadset on having no more.

Ya, we're kind of pressed for time too due to DH's age. Plus the fact that I want to go through pregnancy & delivery before we move & DH retires from the military (not sure what kind of health insurance we'll have when he retires and changes careers so I want to take full advantage of what we have now) adds to wanting to get on it asap.

We are technically NTNP, but I have some BC films that I need to start using. I thought I'd want to start right away, but I like being able to give all my time to Cherie and can't imagine having to split my time yet.
I hope it happens quick for all of us this time, though. We've definitely paid our dues!

We aren't TTC right now, but I *think* we'll start when Elliott is around a year old because of my age and I would really like to have 3, optimally, and I'll already be 33 in December. WE want to get moved into a new house before we TTC, so we'll see how things unfold.

We aren't yet, but we will relatvely soon. I'm already 34, and we want to have another one, so I figure maybe when Nathan is around a year old we will start trying again.

We are going to start ttc when Ana is a year old. I would love to try now, but I think its too hard if they´re so close. My Mum had my sister and I 12.5 months apart and says its really not fair on the eldest who has to be big brother/sister at 1!. But it took us 8 months with Ana, so I dont know if we should start a bit before, or if the 2nd is easier?
Good luck to all those who are thinking of trying!!

We probably won't be TTC again until Mari is 2 years old, though it's hard to think that far in advance at this point! I don't want to wait too long since we are hoping for 3 kids total, but we will see what happens
Good luck to those who will be TTC again soon!

just to put this out there, my sister tried for 2 years to have her daughter (who is about to turn 2 in September). Her and her DH decided they would NTNP starting last month b/c she assumed it would take a long time ago. She just found out Friday she's pregnant (haha, it took her one month!)
This also happened to my co-worker who was BF and as soon as she stopped she got pregnant (her kids will be 18 months apart) and it took her 2 years as well for her first!
So, this is just my but I wanted to share, for those of you who had a difficult time conceiving your first, that it could happen fairly quickly the second time around!!

I think we'll start trying when Allie is around 2, but who knows...it keeps getting earlier & earlier! At first, DH wanted to wait until she was in kindergarten to have another (& at the time, I wasn't sure if I even wanted another). But that all changed when Allie was about 3 months...I guess b/c things got so much easier then. Now I know I definitely want another & DH & I both want to try much sooner. But he's funny...one minute he'll say we should start when she's around 2 or 3 & the next minute he'll say he wants one now. Something tells me he won't need much convincing
I don't want to wait too too long though. I'm turning 30 in 2 weeks & while that's not old, I'd just prefer to be done having babies by 33. On the other hand, I love my time with Allie so much, it's hard to imagine having another just yet. I don't want to miss anything in her first year or two.
Good luck to those who are ttc though!

its so wierd to think how many of us struggled to even get to where we are now with our first, and we are talking about TTC our second! Madness.
