Does/did anyone else get asked all the time when they are going to have their baby? I don't know if I get asked that question because I'm having twins or if it's standard. People don't ask when I'm due, they ask when I'm having the girls. I get asked at least once a day (3 times today). I wonder why people think I'd know when I'm going to have them.

Even my mom and DH's parents have jumped on the band wagon Dh's dad was here last week. He asked me the same question 5 different ways to try to figure out when I would deliver. His wife finally stopped him. Dh's mom called last night and asked if we knew. My mom called yesterday to see. They are all trying to make plans, which I understand. Even so, I'm sorry, but I can't schedule my delivery around what may be convenient for them. Especially since I don't know yet if I'll have a csection or not.

My cervix is not dialated, thinned out or funneling, so my body is showing no signs that it's going to go into labor. That could all change in a matter of hours....my water could break unexpectedly and then I'd be delivering that day. I could deliver tomorrow or 5 weeks from now. The only thing I know is that I won't be allowed to by past 38 weeks. My doctor's dating is 3 days behind mine, so that means no more than 5 weeks from tomorrow.

I know the question of when you're due is standard and gets asked over and over. Is the question of when you'll have your baby standard?

Well... I had people asking me too. Maybe it's because they all assume we'd have a c-section....but I just figure it's because people start getting excited and antsy. People don't like not knowing exact figures. I myself didn't like knowing exact figures. lol. Obviously, I just had to explain that only the babies knew when the day would be! LOL.

I'm so happy that you're doing so great! I am really hoping you make it to at least 37 weeks. I think you can do it! I remember 34 weeks being the point where I started counting down. I was so uncomfortable!!!

Keep up the good work and good luck! I'm thinking about 'ya!

I get "how much longer do you have?" I must look like a cow for people to ask it that way! LOL I understand it can be frustrating to get the same questions all the time. I try to remind myself that they weren't in the room 5 minutes ago when the last person asked so they didn't hear my answer! LOL I think I am going to make a shirt that says:
It is a girl
Her name is Haylea Irene
Yes, Irene is a family name
She is due August 24th
No you can't touch my belly!
Yes, I am excited! (why do people ask if I am excited or not? Like I would say no...)

I think it's probably the twins thing. They probably think you have a c-section planned. Although that doesn't explain your family members pressuring you about it! I can see how that would be very annoying.

Yes they would ask all the time, mostly family, they would do it in person, over the phone, by text it was annoying specially on the last two weeks.

I guess they all think youŽre having a planned c-section.

I was measuring big, but even so hardly anybody asked me when she was due/was coming. I think because I am tall they thought I was less pg. When she was born and I was out with the pram loads of people asked if IŽd had her!
No, I am practising pushing the pram??
