Has anyone used a Baby Bjorn or similar carrier? I've been so nervous to use mine. I feel like it blocks Amelia's nose and mouth too much. Anyone have any experience with these to reassure me?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with a Baby Bjorn. We have an Ergo.

I posted on your facebook, but I'll post here too! We have used our Bjorn and love it. Nathan loves it too. Yes, his face is a bit squished and his nose is against my chest, but he doesn't seem to mind. He usually falls alseep in it.

I have a baby bjorn too and Ana hated it until she was 6 weeks old and I turned her round (It says 3 months but she has such good head control) I was at my wits end with her fussing and wanting to be held, so I turned her round and got on with housework and even watching TV!!. I think from 7 weeks on we used it more than her pram.

We had one from Infantino. I tried it a couple of times & Allie didn't like it. Plus it was annoying with all the straps. I wanted to get a Baby Bjorn, but DH wanted that one. Needless to say, we returned it & didn't bother getting anything else.

I have a bjorn and an ergo

at first I loved my bjorn, because its all I had but once Summer hit 4-5 months it was starting to kill my back (and shes not big by any means!!)

I got an ergo and LOVE it!! I LOVE the hip carry, its our favourite position. If I had my time over again i would have got an ergo from the get go.

the only downside is with the ergo they can't face outwards, but I believe there is something out there that is the same as the ergo but also does outwards facing.

Siera LOVES being in the carrier! When she was smaller, she would fall asleep against my chest and now that she's a bit older she likes pushing herself off my chest and looking around.
