I'm soooo sorry I've been away for so long. I have been so busy and honestly just so exhausted. Between going out of town when my grandfather passed away a few weeks ago, to my in-laws being in town for the past 10 days, to everyday stuff...I haven't had much time to myself to get on here. I have had some time to quickly pop on facebook the odd time and have seen some of you on there, but I've missed you all so much. Camryn is now starting to get a routine down, which I am so thankful for! I now have the odd moment to breathe in between naps and feedings and colic...which is HORRIBLE and so heart breaking.
Aside from that, we are doing wonderful though. Camryn (who we still call Bean) is almost 12 pounds now, and is 2 months old! Its hard to believe how fast time goes when you have a newborn. Its like night rolls into day and back into night, and before you know it a week has gone by! lol
She is smiling now, which melts my heart, and is already rolling over on to her tummy from her back! Breast feeding is still going well, however I sometimes feel like I don't make enough to satisfy her. I'm enjoying being home with her, and playtime in the mornings is my favorite time of day! I make a coffee and lay on the floor with her while she smashes around on her baby einstein mat. She melts me!
Here are some pictures of her. Some are a little older, and some are newer. If you're on facebook, you may have already seen some of them! lol Sorry there are so many, I have so many more that I'm leaving out...I'm a camera freak with her!
These are of Bean at her photoshoot at 10 days old.
This is my sister holding her at 2 weeks old
This is her Uncle Bob holding her...he bought her some new shades and I think she likes them! lol
This is Bean on Canada Day...July 1st, so 6 weeks-ish
This is Bean at her 1 month birthday. My grandma (her great grandmother) made her this 1 month birthday cake! lol She's done that for all of us grandkids...its tradition!
And this is my silly monkey last week playing in her crib!
Anyhow, fill me in on you....just because I've been away doesn't mean I haven't been stalking the odd time...but I feel so out of the loop! Update me on you...what have you been up to? How are you feeling? WHATS NEW!!!! I miss you all so much....

It's great to get an update from you. I'm glad things are going well. Your pictures are adorable!
I'm 33 weeks now. Have 3 more weeks on my terbutaline pump and monitor I have no idea how long my contractions will hold off once I stop the terb. I don't get many contractions right after a dose, but can tell it's time to get one about 30 minutes before a scheduled dose as I get some really nice contractions. Right now my cervix is not dialated at all, so the girls are still baking away well. They are going to be bean poles like my SIL and one of my sisters. According to ultrasounds, they have really small bellies but super long legs. I'm getting super excited to meet them.

I've been stalking you on FB, so I was a little bit caught up, but I have to say that Camryn looks so much like Jeff to me! You are right at the stage where things started turning around for us with the 'colic'-stuff. It was amazing to me how much more I enjoyed being a mommy once Elliott stopped crying so much! I hope we get to see you around more from now on.

I can see both Mummy and daddy in your little girl, she is such a cutie!
Ana started to improve her colic at about 9 weeks, so theres light at the end of the tunnel, also thats when she could really eat well at night and started going 8 hours straight through.
As for us, Ana is 3.5 months, and 11lb 15.75 oz (that was last week!!) So she is a skinny minnie, unfortunately she is really long so she looks even skinnier. She can roll both ways and can scoot all over the floor. She has 2 teeth! I miss my newborn!

Welcome back Shanna! Camryn is just precious & you look fabulous! It does get sooo much better once the colic issues resolve & they settle into a bit of a routine! I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather (((((hugs)))))
As for us...Allie is 4 months today She's "talking" up a storm & her new thing is to shriek. I think she likes testing out her new voice We'd thought she was teething, but now we're not so sure. I hope not! She's already growing up too fast. I just want to stop time!

Shanna!!! I was wondering where you have been I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather
As for Camryn, she is such a doll Look are her big beautiful smile, that is just so exciting, she is just adorable!!
I am just over 18 weeks, the doctors moved my due date by 11 DAYS!! That was after my ultrasound. We found out that we "might" be having a baby girl, but she is stubborn and wouldn't move to give us a good shot. We do get to go back for a repeat ultrasound because the baby was so stubborn that they couldn't get clear pictures of everything they wanted, so for a stubborn baby

I love all the pics Shanna.... I regret that we didn't get newborn pics done. Now Kerrigan is a month old... which totally doesn't look the same.
Anyways, it's so good to have you back!

She is soooo adorable. I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. As for me both babies are doing well and I am hoping to find out the sex next week. As of my last ultrasound we think one is a boy but hoping for a definite answer on both next week.

OMG she is so cute! I see both you and Jeff! How perfect! Things are getting easier here for us. I so relate to what you are going through! Colic is no fun, and so hard to watch! I hated feeling so helpless! I was no where to be found on this board when Bella was colic. lol. It lasted 3 months for us and I thought it was lasting longer but we realized she also had acid reflux. Once she got on meds for that all the symptoms got better. The girls are 5 months old now, and Isabella issues are gone...but she is still our fussy baby. She still cries 2x the amount that Alyssa does. lol. She is just opinionated! Good to see you on here, and good luck with Camryn! You are so close to being through the toughest part! She is so precious!
