I am HERE!!!! i got my this morning on an answer early response and then with a CBE digi!! I LOOOOVE seeing the word pregnant.
For those I don't know, I am Kate, 25, and my DH is Brian 27. We live in TX and have one furbaby, Jenny. Who is rotten as can be!! This is our first after 13 months!! We are so excited!
What a day. I had a test that i was studying for last night and i couldn't stay away past 11, so i crashed and set the alarm for 5. Well, my BBT was acting up but my temp still hadn't dropped, so i thought the only way to start AF is to waste a test...well....i watched the pee move across and my heart started beating so fast...OMG there were TWO lines. I looked about 3000 times, and it was still there. Its still kinda light, but its there!! DH was asleep still, so i took pictures and debated whether or not to tell him and how i would tell him... So finally i went in and snuggled up to him and woke him up. I told him i was waking him up on purpose which he didn't understand. I said, I am just so dumb, i can't believe I didn't see this coming. He said what are you talking about. So i handed him the digi in the dark and asked him if he could read it. He said no, I said well you might want to get your phone and try then....so he did. And he said...Oh, Cool. then he sat there for a second and he goes, well I guess you got your baby. ( I was just crying last night that i was never going to get pregnant). Then he said, you know i was starting to worry what you would be like if you DID get pregnant if that wasn't it!!
So then we talked a little, and let it sink in for a minute. Then i couldn't study and I am pretty sure i totally bombed my test, but whatever. The final will replace that grade!
So I am so elated, but I am so scared something is going to happen and how will I know everything is okay. I am 4 wks 1 day right now, no spotting yet, very light cramping, my boobs barely hurt...the only thing i have going is a headache.
My annual was supposed to be aug 7th so i called and they changed me to a pre-natal appt Aug 4, with the NP and we'll do labs and talk insurance and stuff. I think DH is planning to come, even though its not very big!
I am just a mix of emotions right now!!
I do not know when we'll tell our families, I am very up in the air about that! SO anyway, I am just thrillled to be here!!!!
Oh and my EDD is March 31!!
Oh, and does that line seem light for 15 DPO??

Congrats!! I think that line is perfectly fine for 15 DPO. Try not to stress...even AF like cramping is normal and a lot of girls don't get sore boobs at all or until later. Sorry you couldn't concentrate on your test though...I don't think I would be able to either!

LOL, your description of your reaction wasw absolutely identical to mine...at a certain point, it is just so hard to believe
Anyway, bad Kate for taking the HPT right before the test...but hey, who cares about a test when you have news like that!!
I'm so so thrilled for you, and can't even believe that you get to join me and Casey in the March DDC - YEAH!!!!!!!
As for the line...remember, it doesn't matter at all how dark it is, or when the baby implanted...what matters is that the HCG doubles...
I'm SO SO HAPPY that you are here!!!

Congrats on your BFP!!!! Try not to stress out - I had AF like cramping for days before I got my BFP and for several days after. I'm so excited for you. Good luck and tons of sticky dust.

Kate, congrats and welcome again!!! I honestly don't post on here as much as I thought I would--I'm just too tired and lazy after work and the couch seems like a better spot--lol! I had quite a bit of cramping at first too. In fact, one of the reasons I stopped being "obsessed" with JM is I, too, was a little freaked in the beginning and I was comparing myself with others too much I think. So, I've been taking a little break and trying to enjoy things more! Anyway, I'm just so happy for you!!
