I was lurking on WTTC grad board and came across this link posted by LadyCoconut

I had my DH check our online bank and we only see $8.45 for shipping and handling from company named MILK BANDS LLC. Which is right. But I don't see other scam issues on my bank statements.

I'm not sure if I should change bank debit card just in case??!!

Has anyone been scammed? Check your bank statements!!!!

I ordered one and haven't had a problem. I read in some of the other DDCs that the BBB (Better business bureau) has 0 complaints about this company and they're reputable. I'm not saying the fraud didn't happen, but it's happened with other companies (TJMaxx for example) too, so I'm trying not to be paranoid. I will be watching my statements though.

I'm just giving out warning to make sure our ladies doesn't get scammed. Angela (soimarriedanerd) got scammed and her CC company caught it in time. So It could happen to anyone.

thats really weird because I bought one too, (as did half my playroom) and none of us have had problems!

Thanks, Christine... I was going to post that too! I think true or not true- it still helps us to be aware of who/where we give out our info. I also ordered one and luckily have had no problems!

I didn't read it, but I have an Udder Cover. I know no less than 20 people who did the deal with no issues what-so-ever. I'm sure it was a mistake, whatever it was, it's a reputable company!

Erin, you are so right.. this situation woke me up.... I have to be careful where I shop online. I learned you can click on small box at the bottom of online shopping site, where you can check their status if they are licensed or not. You know the verification box at the bottom? I learned about that... and also I learned you could do pre-paid visa and use that instead of your debit card to prevent the company from selling your debit info if their site is unverified.

She has NO proof that this company scammed her. She assumed it was them because she did the deal and at one point had fraudulent charges on her credit card. I'm going to guess that it had nothing to do with Udder Covers.

I really don't like the title of this thread. This poor WAHM is being crapped on all over the internet and she's done nothing wrong.
