I have my final this morning but i woke up to spotting. It is mostly brown but some red and I am freaking out! I am calling the doc on my way to school, taking my test and then hopefully going straight there.
Please say a prayer for me, I really don't want to lose my baby and I am soooo scared right now!

spotting is normal in the beginning of a pregnancy. You'll probably get the same response from other members here who have spotted as well (me included). As long as it's not accompanied with cramping you should be okay. But, I'll keep you in my T&Ps...keep us posted!
Good luck on your test

I had some spotting at 6w for a few days. I know it is easier said than done but try not to worry because it can be normal. Let us know how today goes and good luck on your test!

I had spotting as well. Try not to worry. Mine ended up being a burst capilary on the outside of my cervix that had nothing to with my pregnancy. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had spotting at 7 weeks, it's very nerv wracking! But try and keep calm, keep your feet up and relax. I know it's easier said then done. Also see you Doctor of course. Everytime I had a cramp I would get so nervous, and sometimes it would wake me up in the middle of the night and I'd walk them off to calm down. KUP!

I'm sorry you're having to worry right now. i hope it's all just the "normal" spotting. You're in my T&Ps!

Hope all is well, like everyone has mentioned, it's very common (although scary!)

I started spotting about week 5 and continued throughout my second trimester. I'm sure that everything is ok, but I will be thinking good thoughts for you!

Hang in there! Like many of the other ladies, I had spotting, too. it's probably just normal spotting, but it is still totally scary! I'll be thinking of you.

I called and left a message for the nurses. I talked to my mom who told me she spotted with me for 3 days. I'm not sure what to think but I am a mess...totally up and down. My test went great, thanks! I dont' know whether to call the docs office again or just wait until my appt tuesday. If I am going to miscarry there isn't a whole lot I can do. I am just so incredibly scared right now. It alternates on and off brown and pink and can only be seen when i wipe for now. It started when i woke up at 6. The one thing that scared me was there was quite a bit when i woke up, but i think it pooled in there while i was sleeping and thats why it seemed like a lot. I am so so scared. The good news is i'm not really cramping so that does make me feel some better, but I have peed about 10 times already in the last 6 hours.

Add me to the spotting club. It is terrifying, to be sure. No words will help until you see/hear that little heartbeat! My doctor said 1 in 3 pregnancies have unexplained bleeding in the first trimester. Good luck and KUP!

Thank you ladies!!
I am going to see my OB and do blood work tomorrow at noon. So I will try and update after, but will definitely update by tomorrow night. I am so hoping everything is alright...i'm on the fence right now and not sure what to think.
I have had a sore back but not really cramping and certainly not severe. The spotting has basically been consistent in amt all day. And I have peed about 8000 times today, I guess maybe that's a good sign.
