Elliott's 6 month pictures and update :)

I can't believe my baby is going to be 6 months old on Sunday.

Everyday is honestly a joy at this point. He is sleeping much better these days (really only new this week)--the past two nights he's slept from 10:30 until 7am!!!

Of course, I keep waking up hoping he's okay and thinking my boobs might explode.

While he can't quite into a sitting position on his own, he can hold it for a while once we get him there. He is eating quite a bit these days, too! Prunes are his favorite, but he hasn't really disliked anything but sweet peas. I have made most of the food--avocados, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, oatmeal. . . I think that's it--pears and butternut squash are up next!

My mom took Elliott to get his 6 month pictures today and they are just too cute! She had been wanting him to have a picture in his 'My First TCU Shirt,' so today was the day. My mom had been keeping him all summer and she told me today that she's going to cry next week when she doesn't get to see him everyday.

Not sure why they're so small.

This is the one we got a million copies of, only with my mom cropped out!

I honestly can't believe that it's been 6 months! It seems like yesterday. He is so adorable, he just gets cuter every day!

6 months??, he is adorable and I bet you�re relieved with the new sleeping pattern. Good job on making your own food too, he looks a happy, healthy baby boy!

Oh Courtney he is just the cutest ever. Paige was oooo and ahhing over him!!! Thanks for the updates. So glad to hear he is sleeping for ya. I thought I remember reading that you were making his food, is that right? If so, how's that going for ya?

I had the pics done at Portrait Innovations. They always have a $9.99 special for one pose and you get a TON of pictures. Thanks for all the compliments, ladies. I am so in love with this little boy!

Making the food is SUPER easy and saves tons of $$$. I make it in big batches, freeze in ice cube trays, then pop out the cubes into a ziploc. Each cube is around an ounce. I have made avocados, sweet potatoes, and apples so far. I bought sweet peas and prunes because those are too difficult to get smooth.
