Hey ladies. Quick question about the position of the baby. I had a follow up ultrasound today since the little bugger wouldnt show his face all the way at the 19 week scan. I will be 23 weeks tomorrow and all is measuring and looking great. He is weighing 1 pound 1 ounce and heartrate was 149. Last night the baby was moving and like crazy and we found out today he is breech. Just wondering when babies typically get settled in head down if anyone knows. Of course I'm nervous I want to make sure he gets the way he needs to!
And of course I had to share some pics of him!!

They can flip head down really late, even up to the last week or two. I'm 35 weeks and am in the process of trying to flip one of mine with the help of my chiropractor. I've been told by multiple doctors that it's not too late for her to flip even though there are 2 in there.
I wouldn't be concerned at all yet about the position.

Cute pictures! Brady was breech the whole time, so I don't really know about the timing of turning. I do know you're still really early though. I wouldn't worry too much about it right now.

my baby is laying sideways right now, head in my left rib and feet in my right rib, and my doctor said that they want her to be head down by 36 weeks, so you still have lots of time!!!

usually they will get into their position the last 2-3 weeks of your pregnancy. You have plenty of time for him to flip around to be head down...no worries right now great pics though!

He's so adorable Jodi! I wish I had some 3D shots. I don't think it's anything to worry about just yet. At my last appt the baby was laying across my stomach and they didn't say anthing to me about that so I'm sure it's fine.

Lilyana was breech all the time! She would keep flipping back and forth. I think it was my 36 week appt when she decided to stay head down.

Cute pictures, Ana was transverse (but with her butt down where her head should be) until past 7 months, she turned 2 days before my 8 month scan (that was painful!!). They werent worried about it though. I hope she turns whilst shes still quite little!!

Haylea was breech until 31 weeks. I was convinced that she wasn't going to budge but she did and has been head down ever since. Try leaning on a birthging ball on your knees to get her to lean towards the front and flip. I did that about an hour each night...not sure if that is what did the trick but I don't think it hurt. Plus it is just comfy to do that!

Most babies are in the head down position by 30-32 weeks, but they can flip at any time. Some breech babies don't turn until labor begins!

Awww, he's precious!!! Your little guy is stubborn like mine! Right now, he's in a really goofy position but we'll see where he ends up. I know they can move to the right position up until you are ready to deliver.

My baby seems to turn a lot too - 20 week u/s she was one way and at the next one (4D) at almost 22 weeks she was the other direction. My doctor said it's totally normal for them to flip around and move a lot until they get bigger and like others said babies can flip around in the last few weeks of pregnancy as well.
