Can you believe I'm almost halfway???
We had our 19 week appointment and ultrasound today and everything was perfect! The baby was measuring 19 weeks and 1 day, which is exactly where I knew I should be based on ovulation date. That makes 40 weeks on December 28th, although my technical due date won't change (December 26th). The baby was 6 inches and 9 ounces.
The Dr said all of my blood work came back great, my risk of Down's syndrome is 1 in 4,500. Based solely on my age, the risk would have been 1 in 700.
I only gained 2 pounds since my last appointment and 7 pounds overall! Now...that doesn't include the 5 pounds or so I probably gained before my first appointment, but on the record, I've only gained 7 pounds total!
And we stuck to our guns and asked not to know gender! I will admit I was a little curious, but kept telling myself no! Here are some pictures.

So cute! I love u/s pics! I can't even imagine how relieved you feel that you are almost half-way and got a great health report from the u/s. You will be AMAZED at how quickly the second half of the pg will go!!!!

Awwww Chris, your baby is looking so cute!!!! Good for you for sticking to your guns...sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want to know gender, so it's nice to have a few other JM ladies who will also have surprises.

Your baby is absolutely adorable! I love the pic where the baby is flipping around! How cute! Love the new belly pic, you look amazing! Congrats on being almost halfway there! Good for you sticking to your guns. I want it to be a surprise too so you and Rachel are not alone!

I think I'm going to say boy, but I've totally been wrong (um, I thought I was having a boy  ). Way to go you for not finding out. I definitely wouldn't have been able to hold out w/my first. I wanted to know as soon as I got my BFP LOL. I wanted to keep it a surprise w/the second, but DH wants to know. Meanwhile, he was the one who didn't want to know with Allie
