So the last week I literally have been getting up every hour on the hour to pee. I just keep thinking that at least after the baby is born I might get a 2 hour stretch once in a while!

I barely slept on Sunday night. I was miserable on Monday and thought that's what it's probably going to be like when my girls first get here. I am enjoying any sleep I get right now.

Oh April, I totally understand! It's so tough at the end when you are so uncomfortable and have to pee all the time, but let me tell you once she gets here you will reach a whole new level of exhaustion, but the one thing is that when you do get sleep at least you are comfortable!!! Hang in there!!

Yes, that is just it! I don't really mind the getting up part because I can basically pee in my sleep but it is the pain that comes with it that I am ready to see go! That and my hip pain...I need one of those donut pillows to put under my hips when I sleep!

I resisited buying the snuggle (or whatever its called) the big body pillow that's shaped like an s...anyway, once I finally gave in and bought it I fell in love. I was the best...it was like I could sleep again. I know it's a little late now, but it may be worth it these last few weeks!!!

Oh yeah newborns sleep a ton. I think I got pretty good sleep those first 2 weeks, albeit only in 2 hour stretches, but still! I had insomnia while preggo and got less then that!
And I have the snuggle too. My question: what the heck do I do with it now? It's not exactly easy to store

I think I got a good baby. Apart from the first 3 nights she would do 2x 4 hour stretches every night, much better than being up 2 or 3 times to pee and then thinking; if i sleep now iŽll get 5 hours, if I sleep noe iŽll still get 3 and a half hours.....

Well I do hope that she will sleep well for you...or at least she won't be like my little one & want to be held 24/7 in which case sleep for you won't come so easily. The upside is that you won't be as uncomfortable though! But yeah, I'm with Gwen...it's a whole new level of exhaustion. I actually looked back on my pregnant w/o any children days longingly at times

Awww sorry April! Not much longer though and you'll get tons of sleep and no peeing every hour! Get a body pillow if you can, I recommend it. I had one from 20 weeks on and helped! And when Haylea arrives, sleep when she does for the first 2 weeks at least. No matter what, believe me you will want and need it! I kick myself for not sleeping every single time Z did. I wanted to sit, hold him sleeping and stare at him but those extra hours would have been soooo nice and useful.
