Your childs first birthday??

some of you are coming up to that stage now

I was saying to DF that I want to make sure Bella has a first birthday party so it got me wondering what what you guys are all doing/thinking of doing when you get to that stage?

Will it be quite a big event, lots of friends family etc?

Are you going to keep it fairly low key, just you DH and bubs? Who knows when I get to this time next yr, I may not want to do a lot but at the mo I would love it to be a big deal for her. Not that she will fully understand.lol

I can't believe Zane will be one in almost 5 months! Ahhhh. We've been talking about his birthday....we're going to have a small party with some friends and hopefully family if they can fly out! We're going to do a turtle theme, cause we have a family joke about turtles and my dad calls him Zippy the turtle. I'm going to make him a cute turtle smash cake. I can't wait! I kinda want to take him to DisneyLand too. But we'll see.

Well, I have some time to think about it, but my BFF's DD will turn 10 4 days before Cherie will be 1, so we'll probably do a joint cookout party. The same people will come to both of our parties, including DB's family, so it's easier that way.

Summer is having a party!! my mum is flying over for it

We all going as all out as I can.... i wanted a jumping castle but she is too little so she is getting that next year

What theme are you going with Tam? Just curious.

I want to go all out kind of also. I have not set anything in stone yet. I am probably doing a "Minnie Mouse" theme. I will probably buy a "Minnie" cake for everyone, but make her smash cake myself. I am thinking of hiring in a clown of something. I found one that does a little comedy/magic show and she does face painting and animal baloons for the kids. I will probably have my face painted too, for fun HA! I can't wait, I have less than 3 months to go!!
